Buying out one of the worst game ever to make this world a better place.
shaqfu.com — Shaq-Fu must be eliminated for everyone to feel at peace. Shaqfu.com's mission is to LIBERATE all the copies of Shaq-Fu from existence by buying them from anyone who owns the game, including local console retailers, Ebay merchants, normal citizens, and the like.

- fantastcandy10, on 10/12/2007, -1/+56dugg only because this is completely ridiculous.
- rideaurocks, on 10/12/2007, -2/+38Bullseye. Let's halt sales of a game by buying all copies we can find, thereby raising demand!
- hackwrench, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6However, they aren't making any more so the supply is fixed. Kind of like old hardware, which might be a better thing to make no longer exist. However, this does ignore the software of the game itself.
- yonbeastie, on 10/12/2007, -0/+12haha, possibly genius.... creating a shaq fu cartel of sorts. this guy's gonna be a millionaire
- kpavery, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3Haha, it is isn't it? Next will be Shaq in Heat or something like that.
- generalleoff, on 10/12/2007, -2/+22I'm not deleting my ROM
- shaolinpunks, on 10/12/2007, -1/+13@rideaurocks
there will NEVER be a demand for the game - FearlessNinja, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1i have this game, i actually beat it. not the worst. a horrible concept. i just remember my sega genesis and my games beside it looking at that huge badonkadonk cardtridge labeled SHAQ-FU.
- brownspank, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Wouldn't it be more practical to just tell everyone not to buy it?
- Xizer, on 10/12/2007, -1/+28This makes me miss the days when EB/GameStop sold SNES games...why did you have to end it GameStop? WHY?!!!!!!!!!
- JFetch, on 10/12/2007, -0/+12They are about to stop buying and selling PS1 and N64 systems and games also.
- masamunecyrus, on 10/12/2007, -0/+22Do they really expect people like me to buy used, crappy, PS2 Nickelodeon games as opposed to awesome NES and SNES games, back when companies like Capcom and Squaresoft had talent?
- Enjoikr3w, on 10/12/2007, -13/+10@masamunecyrus
Squaresoft still does have talent. - zacharychaos, on 10/12/2007, -0/+16most of the good games were already sold.
My gamestop was selling SNES games as recently as last year. They were like 90% off but all they had was a bazillion copies of crappy sports games. - FreakyT, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Just yesterday I went to Gamestop, and they're clearing out all their 6th generation games, too! (PS1, N64)
I miss the good ol' days of Funcoland...
- V1ncent, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4I support any good cause!
- cody50, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5If you want to dominate in that game be the voodoo chick and just do the combo where you stab the voodoo dolll. you'll win, guaranteed.
- cybernetic798, on 10/12/2007, -0/+14I actually had a lot of fun playing Shaq-Fu. It was ridiculous in premise but it was quite enjoyable once you get past that. The characters all seemed unique and the levels were pretty funny.
- wmpp, on 10/12/2007, -0/+21Same here. I had some good times with the game. The characters were animated well and gameplay was not bad. For cryin' out loud, if you're going to dedicate time to freeing the world from a Shaq product, lets make it the movie "Steel".
This reminds me of the time a friend of mine went to a used CD store and tried to buy Rick Isely's best of CD. The clerk took one look at the CD and told him to take it and get the hell out of his store. - agilethumbs, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5Seriously! Shaq and Kung Fu. What's not to like?
- wmpp, on 10/12/2007, -0/+21Same here. I had some good times with the game. The characters were animated well and gameplay was not bad. For cryin' out loud, if you're going to dedicate time to freeing the world from a Shaq product, lets make it the movie "Steel".
- chaosmachine, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7i remember seeing this every time i went to the video store as a kid. i think i rented every game in the store at least once.. except shaqfu.
- elusive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Next they should focus on Shaq Diesel:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00000050Z- Umberger, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Well...it won't cost them much to buy those:
82 used & new available from $0.15
- Umberger, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Well...it won't cost them much to buy those:
- reefinyateef, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4Wow, I remember playing this game on Genesis - it was TERRIBLE!
- BassCadet, on 10/12/2007, -8/+20What is it with gamer nerds and their
1) Fascination with Japanese language
2) Fascination with weird, long coats- rolf, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2When (if) China ever starts exporting cool manga/anime (if they have any, I don't know what they are into and the Japanese has a long tradition, it's not as if they just started making it a few years back) or some other cultural fare, you'll have geeks learning Chinese as well as Japanese.
BTW, they are only beginners, in the second panel under liberation, the one guy said:
"Sake o tabemasu ka." or something similiar, which translates literally to "Want to eat sake?"
It should be: "Sake o nomimasu ka." (drink).
- rolf, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2When (if) China ever starts exporting cool manga/anime (if they have any, I don't know what they are into and the Japanese has a long tradition, it's not as if they just started making it a few years back) or some other cultural fare, you'll have geeks learning Chinese as well as Japanese.
- Smoktiludy, on 10/12/2007, -4/+3What a recockulous game. I remember my best friend actually bought it for some strange reason and playing it with him. I like the idea of ridding the world of this game, though.
- neoian, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8ah... recockulous. you took it up a level i see.
- saadghauri, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5but i had fun playing that game ....
- grossag, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Yeah same here...can't remember why I liked it but for some reason some part of the game was actually kind of interesting
- snowthrower, on 10/12/2007, -0/+17Dugg because I own the game and they're not getting my copy :)
- magixx, on 10/12/2007, -0/+12Here is the Game:
http://rapidshare.de/files/25342402/Shaq_Fu__U_____.rar.html
Gonna try it on PSP tonight. - ericpp, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4I used to own a copy... it even came with a copy of "Shaq Diesel" :P
- oyourmom, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7I have my copy and its not leaving my vault. They can try to crack 2 ton safe with 4 dead bolts, 6 hinges, 2 combo pads, and a padlock. If they can get in there ill give them my M-16 with it. :D
- StephenChow, on 10/12/2007, -21/+2No digg, the sites too slow
- Bota, on 10/12/2007, -4/+3damn slippery finger clicked on the digg up comment instead of digg down.
how about two of you true diggers fix my mistake and bury this clown.
now. @ StephenChow
Friendly reminder- You do not digg down a story based on it's hosts response time. You do so on the merits(or lack thereof) of the story in question. Please don't try to change things. Change scares me.

- pantamonkey, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Can we start a similar movement to rid the world of the Barkley vs. Godzilla comic book?
http://www.darkhorse.com/profile/profile.php?sku=93-483
I found this at a garage sale for $.25, it is funny but it hurts my brains. - Wickerman392, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3They also need to get everyone who has ever downloaded the shaq-fu rom, and put it on their PC, X-box Dreamcast, etc. to upload it and delete and destroy the media it was kept on. Preferrably by turning said media into a fine powder and setting the powder on fire. If you have ever downloaded some sort of SNES rompack, you have it; I recommend a secure erase program.
- atmicrat, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2thats usually first to go
- shaolinpunks, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4GamePro Magazine is crap
why the hell did they
"GamePro Magazine gave the game a 4.5 overall"
is that magazine around anymore?
does or has anyone actually purchased a "game mag" before?
i know if you go to eb or gamestop or funcoland (what ever there called now) they'll give you a life time subscription to some sort of magazine for a nickel- Agret, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2"does or has anyone actually purchased a "game mag" before?"
Should've read that part of your comment before giving you thumbs up. Big thumbs down for you.
I'm subscribed to Hyper, Electronic Gaming Monthly, Offical Australian XBOX Mag & Atomic(a tech mag but hey it's got a games section)
- Agret, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2"does or has anyone actually purchased a "game mag" before?"
- Inferno69, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1This is more than two years old. Go to the liberation part, then go to EB Games, and then look at the picture with Mary-Kate and Ashley. In the part where they're trying to be funny, it says that they're "almost legal" and then the date says June xx, 2004...
- taotehue, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8what a complete waste of time and money.
- muffins, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9This is the stupidest thing I've ever seen...
- uppedbyhiggins, on 10/12/2007, -3/+55 years ago, i bought this used. Played it for probably two levels (I remembering seeing many Pepsi ads in the game) and shortly smashed it with a baseball bat. It only cost two dollars--I felt I got much more out of it than two bucks.
- anamanaman, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3way to fight the power. you rock!
- uppedbyhiggins, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I was fighting no power...the game sucked. Smashing it was infinitely more fun, well worth the two bucks.
It was also fun to see that the game actually existed (although for a limited time, both on the shelves of retail stores, and as one piece in my house).
- MrSunshine, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Let's burn all books these guys don't like while we are at it.
- diggn_it, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6Dude, do NOT hate. My friend actually owns this game and its really fun. It has a kind of Supermario over world feel, but with a mortal kombat fighting system. really cool
- LEDDY, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Well i thought i never hear of such random crap, so i digged it
- lazyrussian, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2you know, if they get every copy (which they won't) they'll have a monopoly and sell it at ridiculously high prices.
smart kids. - Smarterdanu, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3http://www.ebgames.com/product.asp?product%5Fid=911786
- Derrelicte, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Holy crap. That is highway robbery.
- Derrelicte, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Well uhh...I actually enjoyed this game. Then again, I was a much younger, much more naive child. If I went back and played it now, I probably wouldn't share the same fun I used to have with it.
The Shaq Diesel CD that came with it, on the other hand...
...It was trash then, and it's trash now. - Sl4sher, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1This is by far the most useless thing I've ever seen, game cartridges only last about 20 years, the game having been produced in 1994 will no longer exist around 2014.
- superstewy, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Have you people even played the game? I did when it came out. Is it bad? YES! Is it the worst game ever? Not even close.
- Agret, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2They should buy up all the copies of ET for atari
- tavisjohn, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1LMAO All that will do is drive up the price of any remaining copies! It can be the worst game EVER, and if there is only one copy left, SOME collector will pay a FORTUNE to have it! LMAO!
- JackCrowley, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0thats if you had a chance of getting all the copies. Even if you paid 1 buck per copy, there would still be around a million copies distributed AT LEAST and that's one million you'd have to pay. Even if they had that money, why the hell would they bother, the carts will only last until 2014 as someone stated.
- anamanaman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2***** that. I LOVE that game!
- scott1, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I hope this doesn't give Jack Thompson and his army of anti-gamers any ideas...ecpially when halo 3(rated M) is coming out next year...
- jonesyhahaha, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Shaq-Fu is a kickass game. These people are nuts :o
- Destinatus, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1hehe, I liked that game back in the day. I think I even have a copy of it.
- FearlessNinja, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0wait, are they getting the sega genesis copies too?
- tbfl, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1That was hilarious - going to load up the emulator....
- kevinski, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1You know, there are a lot more worse games than Shaq Fu. In fact, I'll keep my copy, thank you.
- dethblud, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I don't care how bad a game, book or movie is. Hoarding all of the copies and making them unavailable is doing society a disservice. That's why we have no complete copies of Friz Lang's 1927 film Metropolis, for example.
- Albaster, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Comparing Fritz Lang's Metropolis with Shaq Fu should grant you a kick in the nuts.
- rtphokie, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I was not aware that Shaq was a Digg reader much less a contributer.
- Albaster, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I have the Game Gear version, and I gotta say that, being a stripped-down version of the SuperNES/Megadrive one, it was quite better than its big brothers... Most of the problem with the original game was that, as it had so many animation frames, the gameplay wasn't very fluid... In the other hand, the Game Gear version, having a lower amount of frames, played just right.
- Albaster, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Duh, I accidentally hit the "Submit" button, sorry for the double post...
What I wanted to add is that this game wasn't that bad anyways... I'd rather go hunting any "Rise Of The Robots" cartridge any time of the day. - REXNFX, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0The video in the extras is ridiculously lame. Digg for effort in acting and script writing.
- ThE0eNiGmA, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1My roommate actually has ... TWO copies of this game. I have no idea why he has them... and frankly I don't really want to know. Needless to say it has not come anywhere near my SNES. My precious shall not be defiled by the likes of Shaq-Fu. Unfortunately, said SNES has seen it's share of some other crappy games... like Final Fantasy Mystic Quest.
- FoomMan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0The video under extras is a gem, in my opinion.
Shaq Fu is something I do think we all must buy up and "enjoy," its quite a fun party game at college.
