- ChrisKoenig, on 11/05/2007, -0/+0From anywhere? Not from 30,000 feet... That's another part of the beauty of Windows apps. Web apps are cool - presuming you're connected up. When you're disconnected - web apps don't work too well...
- dturnbull, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0wow, I guess you've never used a Desktop Blog Publishing program! This is no new concept, these tools have been around for ages, but I just like how Windows Live Writer is set up. Wordpress is great software, and I use it, this INTERACTS WITH WORDPRESS to make the WYSIWYG capabilities greater, and it gives you the ability to switch between blogs, and simply manager your posts with greater efficiency.
Sure, if you post on some crappy blog about your dog or what you do each day then just using Wordpress is fine. But if you manage a network of blogs and currently receive all your income through them, then this is an extremely useful tool.
You can't access the internet anywhere! If you have this Windows application, and a laptop you can easily go out, start blogging, save your posts, and then publish them at a later date. Oh, and I forgot to mention (even though it's clearly on the site)
WINDOWS LIVE WRITER IS FREE! Zero Cost.
I hate it when people don't read the facts and claim they know everything. You're just one of those people who go "Ew, Microsoft, it must suck". Get over yourself and start likin' things for what they are, and not who they're made by.- xtanu, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0Yeh, you are damn right ..! i used this tool and its supperb !!
