Are Solar Sails Set to Become Reality?

fanboy.com — The first person to propose a solar sail was Johannes Kepler in the 17th century, although solar sails may be set to become reality shortly as NASA is getting ready to test the concept with 100-square-foot sail called the NanoSail-D which is set to launch on July 29th (BTW you can also follow the progress on the mission on Twitter).
