    • jimmytango829, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2you can just bring in the receipt and get a refund. They have a 30-day pricematching thing. Even if it were cheaper at best buy, you can bring in the receipt and they will give you money back.

  • zwilliams, on 10/12/2007, -6/+4Even if this is true; its still not enough to get me to shop at CircuitCity ever again. I've given them multiple chances, each time I've had a huge problem. Twice, I was sold USED FLOOR MODELS as "new" and paid full price only. Only to drive all the way back home (45 minute drive), to find out the problem. I call their customer service (asked for manager) and I am refused a refund of money or any form of reparation. I promptly went back the next day and ripped the managers and their employees a new one in front of the entire checkout line.

    I even went out of my way to tell one of the older women at one of the Checkouts she was being ripped off by paying for a HD reciever for a SDTV 4:3 LCD TV.

    And that was only one of the smaller incidents.

I just went and bought it when I seen this digg and it worked. at first they tried to tell me they had no players till next week but I argued and got one. the coupon wouldnt scan but they can enter the code on it. Thanks for the digg now im gonna go watch Batman Begins HD. btw it comes with King Kong free.

      The $500 PS3 is equivalent in config (20GB HD, no Wi-Fi, wireless controller) to the $400 Xbox 360. So to get an equivalent 360 with HD-DVD costs $600, or $100 more. Well, plus $15 for a play n- charge kit and $50 for a WiFi adapter (if you need Wi-Fi).

      If you really want to play HD movies, the PS3 is a better deal. If you don't want HD movies, the 360 is cheaper.

  • spunkmyer, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I got mine today and verify that the coupon does work. It wont scan but they have to manually enter it. Make sure you find a nice friendly sales associate and be pleasant.
    It took me about 45 minutes with the sales person searching multiple stores for one and finally discovering they had one in their own warehouse. I left the store with a extra $40 bucks in my wallet.

When she keyed it in, a Socom promotion popped up on the screen! I was silently screaming OH *****! Manager comes over hits a couple keys and I was good to go. Thanks OP.

    The only store who had it was out in Naperville. While I was there my girlfriends mom asked if I would pickup a TV for her. The printout also had a coupon for 10% off TV's so I was able to even use that one. Neither would scan, but they manager just came over and typed them in.

    I am considering printing out another copy and going to a different store. Maybe a DS lite and some games.......anoyone thinking about this should get on it soon before CC realizes that thousands were used in the last few days.

      Before purchasing, I asked if they would honor the coupon, the associate replied with a: "Why wouldn't we? You're welcome to use our coupons on our store!" She was really nice and funny, asking if we were hyped about the PS3, etc.

      I took pictures too, just in case there were any non-believers.

I then tried it in the Philly store and it worked perfectly. Wouldn't scan, but the rep said he needed to get the manager's authorization. Waited 20 mins for the entire transaction to get done, but it was worth the wait. BTW, the sales rep said that these coupons were "rare."

I wanted to make sure to get in there before the crazy after thanksgiving sales started. I asked a sells person if they had the Xbox360 HD and he took me right over to it. The last one left too. (the one in Fremont, CA) Said I'll take it then he rang it up. Showed him the coupon and he keyed it in (it didn't scan like others said) with no problems and handed it right back to me. He didn't even bink at the sight of this printed out coupon. He even gave me an extra 10% off..WOOHOO! Thanks for posting this! I got the best of deals on this present for my sweetie. He'll be loving it and I saved a bundle..can't beat that
