Many conventional business owners would never even think of Twitter as a tool to market their company. It helps to keep constantly refreshing your ideas about what's going on in people's minds.

The sheer amount of hits those sites get - even if its not relating to your information on their site - rocket you to the first page of google for related searches. I've seen random digg submissions with very little diggs come up in the first couple results of a specific google search just because they are associated with digg. Unfortunately, if its a failed submission like that, its not all that good for you.
