Can a Digg-like community replace the decisions of book editors?

bibli.ca — The biggest complaint from fiction publishers is the sheer abundance of total crap. This site uses tagging and voting to let the good filter up from the bad. AIf someone would just use this as a means to find good books to publish, perhaps a lot more quality fiction would make oit to the bookshelves.
