Did Sitemeter sell out to Spyware?

conservablogs.com — The writer had been indeed able to confirm, on two of his own sites, that Sitemeter is sending specific click cookies onto websites hosting the counter. He immediately removed the counter and now has all of his sites using StatCounter or Google Analytics.

    Sounds like Sitemeter is silent on this so far. Not a word.
