- 650 diggs
- digg it
- atb112, on 01/25/2008, -1/+9The coolest thing about that graph is showing that the number of stories peaks on Monday's and dies off by the weekend.
- DroogInPhoenix, on 01/25/2008, -0/+5Most people log on and do their interneting during work time.
- andrewcsayer, on 01/25/2008, -0/+3But that's unethical! What if the IT department found out? /sarcasm
- nospinhere, on 01/25/2008, -0/+6You mean inbetween the time the IT department is surfing Digg themselves?
- andrewcsayer, on 01/25/2008, -0/+3But that's unethical! What if the IT department found out? /sarcasm
- fkr3, on 01/25/2008, -0/+1The coolest thing about that graph is digg will change courses and instead of fix *****..... produce yet another way we can visulalise the way stories are dugg!!!! And publish it as a screensaver no less!!!!
- Legato, on 01/25/2008, -4/+2also of note, look at the stories to digg ratio that flikr gets...
http://demo.qliktech.com/qlikview/AJAX/digg/SH_Top ...
compared to the others, stories that make it from flikr get significantly more attention it would seem - MacSuxWindozSux, on 01/25/2008, -0/+3Most interesting is sites with only one submitter. Talk about being caught with your pants down.

- soloride, on 01/25/2008, -3/+3This is really cool. I wonder how its going to hold up if it hits the frontpage.
- nospinhere, on 01/25/2008, -0/+1The answer is no
- Shattermap, on 01/25/2008, -9/+16Can there be a free tool that filters Ron Paul/atheist/scientology/lolcat garbage?
- segiterrus, on 01/25/2008, -2/+7Dugg for being Dugg
- kerpalh, on 01/25/2008, -1/+15wow. this website is better than digg. Its like everything digg is, but more black and nerdy.
- Daunting, on 01/25/2008, -1/+4Instead of white and nerdy?
- MyExSucks, on 01/25/2008, -9/+6***** the RIAA
- masterdigger2, on 01/25/2008, -5/+1This could be big.
- Ianki, on 01/25/2008, -0/+6Well, this just in: 25% of content delivered by 5 people. Sort of sounds like a normal blog, doesn't it.
- Ianki, on 01/25/2008, -0/+3Of course this jumps up from 10% to 25% between December and January, so it actually looks like the new front page algorithm is doing the exact opposite of what it was designed for and making it harder for non-power users to make it to the front page.
- MacSuxWindozSux, on 01/25/2008, -0/+3How the hell do you submit 250+ stories a day?
- Repiv, on 01/25/2008, -2/+1It doesn't really matter, though, since users still decide which stories make the front page or don't.
- Wacer, on 01/25/2008, -6/+6Doesn't work with Firefox.
- MacSuxWindozSux, on 01/25/2008, -2/+9Yes. It does.
- rebrad, on 01/25/2008, -2/+3No it doesn't.
- bioskope, on 01/25/2008, -1/+4Yes It doesn't.
- MacSuxWindozSux, on 01/25/2008, -2/+9Yes. It does.
- DonJohnTom, on 01/25/2008, -0/+3this is really cool
- GhostWithToast, on 01/25/2008, -0/+4Wait... doesn't Digg show you what's popular on Digg right now? Oh... this is cool!
- Easyoffbam, on 01/25/2008, -1/+6Articles about Scientology, Apple and Ron Paul seem to be popular at the moment. Imagine if Ron Paul announced he was going to become a Scientologist via the internets on his Macbook Air.
- MacSuxWindozSux, on 01/25/2008, -1/+1And he was announcing it on an iPhone, while playing Wii at Macworld.
- mahdaeng, on 01/25/2008, -0/+1And posing with booth babes.
- MacSuxWindozSux, on 01/25/2008, -1/+1And he was announcing it on an iPhone, while playing Wii at Macworld.
- ravan46, on 01/25/2008, -0/+1How about which ones are buried and/or disappear from the front page?

By visiting www.digg.com - eigenweasel, on 01/25/2008, -2/+3I have prepared my own Digg Zeitgeist to help with this enterprise:
-==: Going up :==-
Apple
Amusing cats
Ron Paul
Monopolisation of popularity by handful of users
Lunatic-cult/RIAA/G.W.Bush bashing
Ugly American 'chicks' that get dugg because none of you have ever seen a real woman

Yo momma- ralphie81, on 01/25/2008, -0/+1You forgot scientol....oh wait, lunatic cult bashing, there it is...
- DenRoedeBaron, on 01/25/2008, -2/+2Qliktech SPAM.
- indie1982, on 01/25/2008, -2/+2And I thought it said "Drug Analytics" :(
- mustang460, on 01/25/2008, -0/+1your not the only one, while on the page i was like wtf does this have to do with drugs ohh...right
- Aguirre, on 01/25/2008, -0/+1Looks like Digg doesn’t like Youtube stories being too popular!
The number of Youtube stories dropped from a steady 300 per month to an average of just over 100 since last August. Digg must have changed their algorithm to make it more difficult for Youtube stories to reach the front page….
(Go Trends. Select Videos, #Stories and Monthly) - GabbieG, on 01/25/2008, -1/+1Thats kinda dumb... just like Dan11023 said:

- thugok, on 01/25/2008, -0/+2I'll 2nd that. Wait..
- retep01810, on 01/25/2008, -0/+0....errr Is it only me, or has anyone else noticed that over the last year the number of stories and diggs are apparently in a terminal decline?
Any other evidence to back this up, or refute it? - mydave, on 07/31/2008, -0/+0this is really cool. it must help many of us.
