Gawker Predicts 40% Decrease in Internet Advertisement

blogs.nashvillescene.com — Nick Denton, owner of Gawker Media, is predicting a 40 percent-plus decrease in internet advertising. His numbers are based on the model of a Morgan-Stanley analyst who makes a connection between a decrease in Gross Domestic Product followed by an even larger decrease in advertising.

A 40% drop would definitely create a buyers market. Besides, they don't cost you anything but a bit of time.

Even if I do notice something that looks interesting, I find myself looking at the name and then googling for the website anyway.
