- jaznova, on 01/24/2008, -1/+0seems to work now
I started one up without an invite:
http://ginger.netvibes.com/
clicked on "Don't have an Netvibes account? Register now!"
Bob's your uncle!
- jaznova, on 01/24/2008, -1/+0seems to work now
- keozen, on 01/24/2008, -0/+3"This code has now expired". Looks like we dugg it to death
- MikaelV, on 01/24/2008, -2/+2You must haz Ginger ! Ginger is a true upgrade
- jakv5, on 01/24/2008, -1/+2Awsome!!
- webtech, on 01/24/2008, -4/+2500 Invites for Netvibes Ginger Beta on Techcrunch: http://www.techcrunch.com/2008/01/22/500-invites-f ...
- brendoman, on 01/24/2008, -0/+1The code has expired unfortunately.
- WelnTaod, on 01/24/2008, -1/+2The Facebook invite has equally expired. Mashable had an available code for a ridiculous 50 people. They must have evaporated as quickly has my interest has for getting on this beta.
- KidSheik, on 01/24/2008, -0/+3Not true! I just used the Facebook invite about 10 minutes ago and the site reported that it is migrating my account to Ginger.
However, I just saw a similar comment on the Facebook group itself, so maybe they added more to that invite code sometime in the day?
- KidSheik, on 01/24/2008, -0/+3Not true! I just used the Facebook invite about 10 minutes ago and the site reported that it is migrating my account to Ginger.
- flyingmeteor, on 01/24/2008, -0/+8I used: FACEBOOK and got in, case-sensitive maybe?
- djsim, on 01/24/2008, -0/+2Worked for me, too. kthx.
- jongos, on 01/24/2008, -0/+1it isn't case sensitive. "facebook" worked for me just fine
- djsim, on 01/24/2008, -0/+2Worked for me, too. kthx.
- hlcno, on 01/24/2008, -0/+3all dead, oh the humanity!!!
- ioannusdeverani, on 01/24/2008, -1/+4It told me that it would migrate my account in a few minutes a while ago. I am still waiting for something to happen...
- PhilAirtime, on 01/24/2008, -0/+2I did it a few days ago with the TechCrunch code; took around 15 minutes.
- lkv87, on 01/24/2008, -0/+1Has anyone's netvibes been 'migrated' yet?
- har0ld, on 01/24/2008, -0/+2Can't wait to put my hands on!
- sla1, on 01/24/2008, -1/+0I've migrated! There's still a few things to iron out... Some of my feeds weren't properly showing. But it sure looks good!
- diggapleeeze, on 01/24/2008, -1/+7All I get is a 500 Internal Server error when trying to get to Netvibes.
- bawpcwpn, on 01/24/2008, -0/+1It's working again now, except the code has expired.
- Justinpirate, on 01/24/2008, -0/+1It has been working most of the day for me but down right now. Ginger is amazing though! The two new themes are beautiful and the new setup is smooth.
- fLUx1337, on 01/24/2008, -0/+4THIS guys, is what the new Digg system is like - it over a full day to get to the front page, and now all the comments are out of date!
- jongos, on 01/24/2008, -0/+1Dugg much? 500 Internal Server Error.
- fishbert, on 01/24/2008, -1/+1I think the site could make a lot more money if they changed their business model to better reflect their domain name.
- Jibberwalk, on 01/24/2008, -1/+1Could someone explain wtf this is... for the ignorant among us?
- 0ceanic, on 01/24/2008, -0/+5netvibes was a customizable home page like igoogle, except with more functionality. any rss feed, more diverse themes etc.
this is a version of that, that includes social networking apps.- Jibberwalk, on 01/24/2008, -0/+3Nice. If I can stumble my way upon a working invite code, I'll give it a try.
Thanks for giving a useful answer... that's rare on the internet.

- samfishercell, on 01/24/2008, -0/+1He's dead, Jim.
- objc, on 01/24/2008, -0/+2Is this a Rails app?
- optimo75, on 01/24/2008, -0/+0That went well. Might be some PR and tech jobs going at netvibes this week.
- PhilAirtime, on 01/24/2008, -0/+1It's a beta, ie. testing software. It's never going to be perfect, even in this brave new world where "beta" means "full release come and get it omgz".
- diggpandit, on 01/24/2008, -0/+2500 Err in 200+ diggs!!??!! :-O ....well that's good for me, I am not alone in this universe.
- hookback, on 01/24/2008, -1/+4I want an invite code...
- grapfx, on 01/24/2008, -1/+3 I go to the ginger page and it asks me, "Already have a Netvibes account?", I click and it asks me for my email. I enter it and it tells me, "You have been added to the list." p0wned!
- BritishGolgo13, on 01/24/2008, -0/+2Yeah, to the bottom of the list of thousands most likely.
- dece, on 01/24/2008, -3/+2just like iGoogle, but with more colors
- DaveMN, on 01/24/2008, -0/+5and better design, more functionality, more customization...
- derrickgossman, on 01/24/2008, -0/+3And out before iGoogle, I believe.
- DaveMN, on 01/24/2008, -0/+5and better design, more functionality, more customization...
- Stemster, on 01/24/2008, -7/+2Ginger is for lazy surfers. Move along...nothing to see here.
- Kailash.Nadh, on 01/24/2008, -2/+1I had totally forgotten about Netvibes, Pageflakes etc. !
- jiveturkeyblues, on 01/25/2008, -0/+2why do i need all this social crap? why would i need to share what feeds i read with other people? i really don't see any need for it.
i totally love netvibes as it is. it's perfect for me right now. - awflasher, on 01/25/2008, -0/+1I'm using Ginger. It's really cool. Just a little slow from China ... ~
- Konstantinopol, on 01/25/2008, -0/+1I want an invite code...
- MaxT, on 03/04/2008, -1/+1http://maxt.dk/archives/2008/03/04/why-i-hate-netv ...
