JPSEC: New media security standard for JPEG-2000 images published

h20325.www2.hp.com — The JPSEC standard received its notice of publication at the international JPEG meeting. JPSEC provides media-aware security tools of confidentiality, authentication, and integrity for JPEG-2000 images. It allows encrypted images to be adaptively streamed/transcoded to lower resolutions or regions without decryption, preserving end-to-end security.
