The Pirate Bay File Police Bribery Complaints

torrentfreak.com — The chief investigating officer in the Pirate Bay case who was revealed as recently working for Warner Bros, has been reported to the police. Yesterday the Pirate Bay crew filed “at least” three complaints, and further people have been reported for bribing the police.

  you can do all these three things to help out a little
  1. read comments,
  2. virus scanner
  3. common sense
  If this seems like to much work, maybe you shouldn't be a pirate and go back to the land of walmart

    They are taking other routes to force a change. Sweden was recently slapped with a ruling in the EU Court of Justice condemning it for not implementing the IPR Enforcement Directive, which among others give IP owners a right to get personal information about an IP address allegedly involved in infringement, so they can take civil legal action on their own (read: sue their pants off).

  They may, or they may not. Anyway, The Pirate Bay is accused of contributory copyright infringement, and the plaintiffs have asked for 115 million SEK in damages. Whether they win or lose is still an open question, as is how much damages they will be forced to pay if they lose.
