- jutendouji, on 05/01/2008, -8/+21Beat me to posting this story by 30 seconds... Oh well. By the way, Jay Adelson (Digg's CEO) also made the list! NICE!
- sockpuppets, on 05/01/2008, -6/+2Jay seems like a successful nice guy but.. comparing him to Steve Jobs?
- fkr3, on 05/01/2008, -2/+22lol, that make the list a joke. Adelson, Arrington etc... all the web 2.0 guys with a website vs. people heading multi-billion dollar corporations that shape the entire tech *industry*.... give me a break.
What's next? Gizmodo and Engadget being nominated for Pulitzers? - ronaldmonster, on 05/01/2008, -7/+2Isn't Kevin Rose the CEO? I'm confused.
- sockpuppets, on 05/01/2008, -1/+3He's the pinup boy.
- karaemurphy, on 05/01/2008, -7/+7Great to see Jay in Time's 100. Not too shabby at all. :)

- truspect0r, on 05/01/2008, -2/+6I bet he asked the server admin to manually edit his diggs on the database.
- gcnaddict, on 05/01/2008, -3/+1Now you and Steve can be golf buddies!
- jayadelson, on 05/01/2008, -0/+2My gold handicap is my hatred of golf.

- ralphthemagi, on 05/01/2008, -11/+1Jay is a pretty cool dude. Not what you'd expect of a CEO type that was "brought in."
- celkin, on 05/01/2008, -7/+1I think Jay's a pretty cool guy. He's the CEO of Digg and he's not afraid of anything.
- bludragn0, on 05/01/2008, -4/+9*I think Jay is a pretty cool guy. eh CEO of Digg and doesn't afraid of anything

- NaTech911, on 05/01/2008, -10/+2So happy for you Jay!!!!! MUCHO CONGRATS!!!! You deserve it!!!
- swazo, on 05/01/2008, -2/+6what are you, 12? don't blow your load.
- eminiguy, on 05/01/2008, -14/+1090% of those included are quantum bleeps, nobodies nobody will know even 10 years from now. Jobs stands out from the crowd, he is the real deal, and I am even not a Mac person.
- gmprunner, on 05/01/2008, -7/+2Riiiiiiiiight. I bet the "e" in your name stands for "eMac", and the "mini" is for "Mac Mini" ;)
- Blitzwing84, on 05/01/2008, -2/+1Eh, I think people will still remember Paul Allen for his contributions to science and of course people will remember Steve Ballmer for his uncontrollable babbling of "Developers, developers, developers" while drenched at the armpits and chest in a pool of his own sweat. "Who said sit down?"
- FutureGuy, on 05/01/2008, -0/+1you are not a Mac person, really? Com'on Steve, I know you like Macs.
- component, on 05/01/2008, -5/+2Bootsie says Digg!
- UltramegaOK, on 05/01/2008, -5/+23Zuckerberg ruins the list.
- sockpuppets, on 05/01/2008, -6/+2Your mom ruined "milf."
- PopcornDave, on 05/01/2008, -1/+2So why'd you leave the lights on?
- sockpuppets, on 05/01/2008, -6/+2Your mom ruined "milf."
- NuclearBunny, on 05/01/2008, -2/+48That's strange... I didn't make the list.
It was only a couple of years ago when I was Time's Person of the Year.- mal1964, on 05/01/2008, -2/+1That was really kinda dumb that year, But very funny comment!
- CatalystDM, on 05/01/2008, -2/+1Zing!
- mal1964, on 05/01/2008, -4/+7I must be at 101 again.
- ojbyrne2, on 05/01/2008, -1/+1Me too.
- mal1964, on 05/01/2008, -2/+1Prove it. lol
- ojbyrne2, on 05/01/2008, -1/+1Me too.
- RyeBrye, on 05/01/2008, -7/+1Sorry Kevin!
- Nintendo451, on 05/01/2008, -4/+8Woo hoo Shiggy!
- mediaspree, on 05/01/2008, -5/+3I can't remember the last time I paid a dime to Facebook's (or digg's for that matter) advertisers. Cause it was never. How is the company or its CEO so valuable?
- sovereign3, on 05/01/2008, -1/+6Here's a hint: It has something to do with what they know about you (your friends, your demographic information, your online purchases).
- init100, on 05/01/2008, -0/+1And they know nothing about me, since I never registered and visited the site like once.

- kraftj, on 05/01/2008, -0/+0Advertisers that showed up for this page load are: Canon, Lincoln, and Dell. Trust me, they're paying heavily for that targeted ad space.

- cgomez, on 05/01/2008, -4/+2I hope making this list counteracts all that negative energy Mike Arrington has been avoiding.
Relevant: http://ismikearringtonadick.com/ - DigMedia, on 05/01/2008, -4/+2Kevin didn't make it cuz he blew off a conference panel yesterday (Economics of Social Media)
;)- Okari, on 05/01/2008, -4/+2Sure. It has nothing to do with the fact that he had one good idea, and the one other thing he tried (Pownce) failed horribly.
- iamtehwinnerz, on 05/01/2008, -5/+4On a serious note, this "poll" was terrible done. There was nothing to stop people from voting multiple times and people took advantage of that by using macro's to repetitively vote for whomever they wanted for to win. I know I have seen macro's for Rain and Colbert. I'm sure some more deserving people would have been in the top ten if it were not for the exploitation of the ability to vote multiple times.
- iamtehwinnerz, on 05/01/2008, -1/+4terribly*
- whatthefu, on 05/01/2008, -2/+11Awesome but the Time 100 doesn't mean anything these days.
- OfNumbers, on 05/01/2008, -0/+6Radiohead? Facebook? Digg? Doesn't seem like a very important list to me either.
- gudnbluts, on 05/01/2008, -3/+1Top 100 silly names?
- johnandlandry, on 05/01/2008, -4/+2"Guy Kawasaki writes: “If you want 95% of the wallets of every market that you’re in, then you want this Steve. If you want the 95% of the mind share of every market that you’re in, then you want the other Steve (Jobs). ... Whether you like the company or not, give credit where credit is due: Steve Ballmer kicks ass.”"
Very well said.- srg13, on 05/01/2008, -0/+4"Whether you like the company or not, give credit where credit is due: Steve Ballmer kicks ass."
By becoming the CEO of a company that somebody else grew to a monopoly with questionable tactics and business deals? - fredmv, on 05/01/2008, -0/+3Steve Ballmer's job isn't hard nor does he deserve any credit. I mean, what does it take? Flipping out at conferences and doing a couple, "developers, developers, developers, developers, developers, developers, developers, developers, developers, developers"?
- Lousansano, on 05/06/2008, -0/+1Ive had enough of Balmer
- srg13, on 05/01/2008, -0/+4"Whether you like the company or not, give credit where credit is due: Steve Ballmer kicks ass."
- fredmv, on 05/01/2008, -1/+1Suckerberg makes me quite weary of the list's credibility.
- drjekelmrhyde, on 05/01/2008, -1/+1Shigeru Miyamoto and Neil DeGrasse Tyson is the shyt

I call bullocks. Screw you Time. - zalzita, on 05/01/2008, -2/+0It was only a couple of years ago when I was Time's Person of the Year.
- taintedzodiac, on 05/01/2008, -0/+1My mom says that no matter what Time says, I'm the Person of the Year.
- polko, on 05/01/2008, -0/+0i still think that some people get money in tons, brain in grams..
- kraftj, on 05/01/2008, -0/+0Sad and ironic that under Jay Adelson's story there is a "Buzz up (On Yahoo!)" button.
- zalzita, on 05/02/2008, -0/+0i can become 101. look and see ok...
- jeffhayford, on 05/08/2008, -0/+1The best part was when they talked about Jobs' and how well Apple was doing. Then went to talk about Balmer and couldn't help but mention Jobs in the article. Balmer 1 Jobs 2.
