Vuze Reinvents Its BitTorrent Client
torrentfreak.com — Vuze, formerly known as Azureus, will soon launch version 4.0 of their BitTorrent client. Inspired by feedback from users, the user interface has been completely revamped. The client itself seems to move towards an all-in-one solution, with built in search and a built in media player.

- eavesdrop, on 10/13/2008, -3/+15Vuze sucks.
- alpharaptor, on 10/13/2008, -0/+11azureus was great, it's like if someone really liked a particular shrubbery and decided to fertilize it and then proceeded to pile manure from every animal available as high as possible on top of it.
- mrm3x1can, on 10/13/2008, -1/+11I'll be sticking to µTorrent.
- AbleX, on 10/13/2008, -1/+7Agreed, people who are downloading content via BT already have a media player kthx. Also, WAY too much overhead in this thing. Also sticking with µTorrent and Transmission.
- purplesawdust, on 10/13/2008, -1/+4from seeing the picture on the site the new UI looks like an improvement; I also like the iTunes look.
- phoenixp3k, on 10/14/2008, -1/+5They should rebrand it something good... like Azureus!
- tonyscha, on 10/14/2008, -1/+2Great go from using 25% of my memory to 50%
- Criffer, on 10/14/2008, -4/+2I'll give Azureus a whirl - interesting comments.

Chris - nrox653, on 10/14/2008, -0/+1Looks like some cross of Limewire and iTunes. Not using it, that just sucks.
- Vadi0, on 10/14/2008, -0/+2On Deluge (http://deluge-torrent.org/) here. I'm not all that much into torrents to be using a more powerful client.
- KaiserArny, on 10/16/2008, -0/+2Do not download this. The install the Ask toolbar even when you specifically ask not to. It also installs one of the biggest and ugliest toolbar without permission. Use µTorrent, Deluge or Transmission for your Bittorrent client. For the rest which is basically trailers and ads, just go to Youtube or any other video sharing sites.
