What is Web 3.0 and are We Ready for It?

briansolis.com — At first it was playful as well as ominous, but now there ’s serious development in Web 3.0 apps. Those in the know will say, yes it’s about time, we need to move on. After all, Web 2.0 is passé right? Truly, many are ready to shed the 2.0 hype and move on to something more meaningful and relevant. Everytime you say Web 3.0, a startup dies :)

    It would also be beneficial to list and explain a few of the (somewhat) new technologies which are driving Semantic Web (like OWL).

    This can help show people that "Web 3.0" isn't just about shiny buttons, color gradients, and flashy badges, but NEW technologies.
