Top Gear's 'Stig' climbs into Warner Bros' Batmobile [PIC]

    • misterdrumz, on 07/08/2008, -6/+2It wasn't the Stig! I saw a video earlier on Jalopnik and this was at Silverstone at the weekend where the Dark Knight was sponsoring a F1 car, they had stunt drivers driving this and the BatPod.

      If I remember it was actually either a stunt driver or one of the F1 drivers whose team was being sponsored.

      So, looks like the Stig but unfortunately isn't

      Not sure if they actually show Stig going around the track with it yet.

On the very first jump test, the Tumbler's front end collapsed and had to be completely rebuilt. The basic configuration of the newly designed Tumbler included a 5.7-liter Chevy V8 engine, a truck axle for the rear axle, front tires by Hoosier (which are actually dirt racing tires used on the right rear of open wheel sprint cars) , rear 4x4 mud tires by Interco., and the suspension system of Baja racing trucks. The design and development process took nine months and cost several million dollars"
