- Mfb769, on 07/22/2008, -4/+14who can really afford to go do that?
- Jalsfw, on 07/22/2008, -1/+8Well.. This guy can apparently?
- nycmac247, on 07/22/2008, -5/+7get a job, hippie
- elscroto, on 07/22/2008, -0/+5Some people just have to suffer for their art . . .
- pe5t1lence, on 07/22/2008, -0/+3He has a European website. So I doubt it is as expensive as we think. Plus if you go to Europe I see no reason why you wouldn't see all of these places anyway (You depart from New York so you can see Lady Liberty then)
- djAnakin, on 07/22/2008, -0/+33Such a cool idea. I hate it when I don't think of simple things like this.
- mattsegal, on 07/22/2008, -0/+1like you would of gone and done it
- ezikiel2517, on 07/22/2008, -0/+16Dugg for Don Quixote
- Superman7507, on 07/22/2008, -0/+6Does anyone else remember the Wishbone episode with Don Quixote, or was that just me?

- coreysnyder, on 07/22/2008, -6/+2This is super cool!!
- hijohnmark, on 07/22/2008, -2/+22Amazing! I can't imagine how long it must have taken him to make this. Beatles pic FTW!
- Omnipotent123, on 07/22/2008, -5/+3That is really amazing, but I don't see how anyone has enough time to do things like that.
- WorldRTomi, on 07/22/2008, -1/+3the whole thing can be done easily in 2 weeks. The european bits can be done in 1 week only. Japanese do it all the time, although I wouldn't recommend doing it that fast.
get a job, save the money you spend on gadgets and stupids things like iphone, ps3 and go see the world, it's not that hard.- picturestorm, on 07/22/2008, -0/+1Its something you could start to do now over the period of a few years as a project. You make the time if its something you want to do. If you enjoy photograhy and have an original idea like this and want to make it happen you will.

- filmbandit, on 07/22/2008, -3/+1the berliners sure are hitting the wormwood these days
- Michas, on 07/22/2008, -1/+4He got some free time, that's for sure.
- RockNRollBeaver, on 07/22/2008, -4/+6And, How many times is this going to be on the front page?
- arjie, on 07/22/2008, -1/+15Wow, he gets to travel the world doing what he loves. If only my life were like that...
- nycmac247, on 07/22/2008, -2/+6priorities
1) Have a budget
2) Every day make choices that save money
3) don't do things you can't afford (ex: another child)
4) pay off debt asap
5) make a goal of traveling for a week internationally every 2 years
6) create a separate savings account for your trip- Rotzooi, on 07/22/2008, -2/+1"make a goal of traveling for a week internationally every 2 years"
Dude. Set a decent goal, ffs. Three or four weeks a year at a minimum.

- Miamisun, on 07/22/2008, -0/+9I am more amazed the quality of both the near and the far. If i took the picture then the images in the distance would be clear and my hand would be blurry.

- ArenaRon, on 07/22/2008, -2/+1That was really cool, I watched whole thing wondering how he was able to line up a lot of those pictures so perfectly. Like the Beatles album cover - well done
- Niubai, on 07/22/2008, -1/+2I don't care so much about money, if I have the necessary to pay my rent, bills and some beer I'm happy, but damn, it must be cool to can afford travel around the world like this. So many amazing things to see and feel ...
- tcpik, on 07/22/2008, -0/+1That's what I'm saying...We Americans need to be cultured about the rest of the world more and not just us and the United States. The government should honestly step in and give us a tax credit for overseas travel and exploration so we're not confined to just American values and beliefs.
- picturestorm, on 07/22/2008, -0/+1Ive backpacked around a lot of the world but rarely met Americans, the ones I did meet were great. But there are not many of you traveling, loads of Canadians though

- HGreenwood, on 07/22/2008, -5/+0Wow, it is amazing - looked through all of them. Must have been hard to make all those pics. But couldn't it be that he just photoshoped his Hand in those pictures? Even that would have been a lot of work...
- davidwasman, on 07/22/2008, -7/+5Digg - Where everything old is new again...and again...and again.
- krekc, on 07/22/2008, -2/+2Stop stealing my comment!
- jeremyduffy, on 07/22/2008, -0/+2That is really an interesting hobby. I wish that he'd cut some of the postcards and such though. Without seeing part of the real structure along with the item, it loses it's effect.
Also, every time I saw a new picture I kept hearing a register noise in the background.. I wonder how much all that travel cost. - poidh, on 07/22/2008, -1/+2He probably shouldn't bite his nails so much though. It's ming.
- daebat, on 07/22/2008, -2/+1nice hands
- WyldeJ, on 07/22/2008, -0/+1He came here to Liverpool just for that one shot. 0_o
- alpha88, on 07/22/2008, -0/+2Some of them are very well done, awesome idea!
- Zippo, on 07/22/2008, -0/+2Man, this guy's been everywhere. I'd love to travel the world.
- thephosphorbox, on 07/22/2008, -0/+1I really envy the amount of traveling this guy has done.. I would love to visit even half the places he has...
- beestro, on 07/22/2008, -1/+0seriously! what is it with people resubmitting diggs of christmas past? find some new material.
- ChayD, on 07/22/2008, -0/+1Duplicate comment - Buried.
- tf5bassist, on 07/22/2008, -0/+1Michael Hughes has been doing photography for a long while, and this project's been going on for a few years no. PopPhoto covered it a few years back, Flickr's put it on their blog as well. It's a very clever project, one with some originality that a lot of people have been taking inspiration from. Good stuff indeed.
- Shoebox639, on 07/22/2008, -1/+3Dugg for statue of liberty and twin towers pic.
- ostracize, on 07/22/2008, -0/+2Never heard of the unfortunately named Peniscola until now
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peniscola - ChayD, on 07/22/2008, -0/+1Awesome! - I wish I had that sort of money and time to go to even *half* of those places!
- LoudMusic, on 07/22/2008, -0/+1Some of them were really good, most of them were ok. Some of them just looked like a dude holding a piece of junk up in the air - the souvenir obstructed the original too much.
But, neat project. - boejangles, on 07/22/2008, -0/+4!!! IM CRUSHING YOUR HEAD !!!
- viacombusta, on 07/22/2008, -1/+2Dugg for the sideways Titanic.

- indnxbllr21, on 07/22/2008, -1/+1pretty old but cool
