Which will mean the equivalent of $1500+ everywhere but the US. If Apple would just stop price gouging the rest of the world to the extent that it does, then its worldwide market share would be as good as its US market share. (see comment)

@Spire3660: Wrong. When making the PS3 version of Oblivion, Bethesda had to put all the data on the disc in triplicate to avoid the loading times becoming even worse than they are. Reason? Slow seek time on the Bluray drive. (see comment)

Gamerpics will still be visible in certain bits of your profile (I'm thinking places like the 'Review' section where there's no space to put the Miis). There's also been speculation about using gamerpics as logos on the Miis' t-shirts. (see comment)

@Yez70: A bluray drive in the 360 is more likely than YouTube functionality. Why? Microsoft's current corporate paranoia is that Google is going to park a big Google Apps-shaped tank on their lawn. (see comment)

Erm... given that they've had months to plan for it, no it is _not_ acceptable that Microsoft can't handle lots of people downloading updates at once. If they can handle Update Tuesday then they can handle updates for the Xbox - which, unlike Windows Upda … (see comment)

Sure, but the whole point of the article is the ability to play media files on devices other than your family PC. So maybe you have an Apple TV which will only play H264 (and similar) files - therefore you need to convert those WMVs to H264. (see comment)
