@arcticblue - you can watch movies in the Photo Channel (search for apps to transcode your movies into the proper format) and there are web servers that will stream your music library to your Wii through the web browser. (see comment)

Your identity provider may require a password (or SSL cert, or keyfob number, or mother's maiden name, or...) but the site you're logging into doesn't get a password. They just get a cryptographically signed message saying you are who you say you are. … (see comment)
