Why would anyone care about what more than 2k people are doing at any given point? It's just noise. The reason to follow that many is only to spam them with the initial follow request, hoping for mutuality. (see comment)

The problem here is we're trying to create a medium that takes everyone's votes prior to the event so the questions that are asked are actually from the people...not just who happens to have access to a live taping. Still, there is much room for improvem … (see comment)
