You have it reversed. I did not get "up in his grill". I did not threaten to call the police until he physically assaulted me. That's not smugness, it's defusing a situation without resorting to violence -- I had no desire to fight some guy on the street. … (see comment)

@urothane: Thanks for mentioning the limits on commercial use of photos. I never consider using photos of people commercially simply because I don't want the hassle of managing and tracking model releases. (see comment)
