This wasn't exactly the way I had hoped for our iPhone site to be announced, but what can you do. Don't bother visiting themob.facebook.com, it no longer exists as it was just a test site and not equipped for the traffic it suddenly received this morning … (see comment)

Because you want your web page to actually work well and look good on the phone? Safari on the iPhone is not identical to Safari on the desktop, so at some point you have to test on the phone . If things don't work as you expected, which is likely, you … (see comment)

spargo, have you spent much time using Firebug 1.0 beta? Firebug 0.4 was indeed quite buggy, especially in comparison to Venkman, but 1.0 is a huge step forward in reliability. (see comment)
