Interesting. This sample includes just about every top economist in the United States... only about 10 percent of these economists self-identify as Republicans. Nearly half of economists called themselves Democrats; the rest were undeclared. (see comment)

I think this idea is cool: a newspaper made by the people (ie. made up of blog entries). Whether the reality is interesting I will have to judge over time. (see comment)

Stallman thinks gmail is a trap and worse than useless. Sure there is a mixture of privacy and ownership issues, but gmail is free and easy. (see comment)
