Right Wing Using Bailout Crisis To Push Anti-Union Attitudes
Looks like the GOP right wing has found its hot-button issue. Conservatives from Mitt Romney in the NYT down to "Average Joes" writing letters-to-the-editors seek to exploit economic hard times to blame and destroy organized labor. If they prevail, we'll all lose.

What Happens When America's Airwaves Fill with Hate?
Must digg! "Bill Moyers takes a tough look at the hostile industry of Shock Jock media with a hard-hitting examination of its effects. Bill traveled to Knoxville where a recent shooting at a Unitarian Universalist Church left the pastor asking what role hate speech from popular rightwing media personalities may have played in the tragedy."

Marc Elias Sets the Wall Street Journal Straight

I'm Not One Of Those 'Love Thy Neighbor' Christians
From the always wonderful Onion: "Everybody has this image of 'crazy Christians' based on what they hear in the media, but it's just not true. I'm here to tell you there are lots of Christians who aren't anything like the preconceived notions you may have. We're not all into 'turning the other cheek.' We don't spend our days committing random acts of kindness for no credit."
