Illinois receives less money than it contributes to the federal government in taxes. Alaska on the other hand receives more federal dollars than it sends. Not excusing the earmark process but states like Alaska benefit from it more than states like Illino … (see comment)

Look I hate rumor mongering and conspiracy theories but you know if this was a Democratic politician this would be all over drudge and Fox. Case in point the Edwards story. The story is most likely not true but its not far fetched. (see comment)
