The guy at the end was Edward J. Rollins, campaign manager of Huckabee. He's a smart person, as you can see here at the "New Yorker Festival, If I Were Running This Campaign": http://www.newyorker.com/online/blogs/festival/200 ... … (see comment)

Berlin Announces World's Largest Electric Car Infrastructure

Comment in News (5 diggs, 0 replies) - on 10/13/2008
well I live in Berlin and would rather have a cheaper public transportation system. It's already pretty well developed, but 72 € a month or 2,10 € for a one way ticket is too expensive. Make it cheaper, and electrical cars are as obsolete as gas powerd on … (see comment)

Why Not Try Dubai?

Comment in News (2 diggs, 0 replies) - on 10/10/2008
yes, good idea! homophobic assholes pack your bags and off you go to dubai. You can keep it. I spent 5 years in Saudi Arabia in my childhood, I don't think that I ever want to live in a gulf state ever again, where my mother wasn't allowed to drive a car … (see comment)

yes, you can. Hotelbars are pretty much the only place in dubai where you can legally drink alcohol. Not sure how much one cocktail will cost there though. Probably twice as much as the most expensive hotel i ever visited. (see comment)
