For what it's worth, this newer driver fixes the weird video artifacts I was getting on my laptop (running SuSe 10.0) in Google Earth, so I give it thumbs up. (see comment)

The binary dates back to June of last year, so I'm pretty sure it's PPC only. You can grab the source from the same site, so you could always try building it for x86 yourself. (see comment)

I was looking into the SC101, but beware-- if you use Linux or OSX, it's useless to you: unlike most of the other NAS boxes out there, it requires proprietary Windows-only client software on every computer that wants to access the attached storage. (see comment)
