Ron Paul backers manage to nab delegates
Comment in News (2 diggs, 0 replies) - on 04/08/2008
The reporter didn't have his math right. We elected six out of nine delegates (and 7 out of 8 alternates) for Ron Paul last weekend. We have a total of seven - eight out of eighteen elected so far, with twenty still to be elected. (see comment)

The author neglects to regale you with the dirty tricks played on the Paulians. We had an uphill battle, but our people pulled it off. As to the claims that they said they supported McCain, they were asked if they would vote for McCain and had the impre … (see comment)

THE Debate to Watch: Values Voters hosting GOP Presidential Debate
Comment in News (3 diggs, 1 reply) - on 09/15/2007
They have "preselected" the delegates to their own straw poll. They decided who they wanted to "win" their straw poll and drew up a delegates list to make it happen. I call bogus. We need to make some noise about this. (see comment)

Exactly. Everyone wanted portable numbers. And they got them. Along with 2 year contracts instead of 1 year contracts. Cell phone companies have payrolls to meet and other fixed costs. They're not going to operate with the service you're used to in a … (see comment)

Corporations don't lose money. They have to charge the customer more to avoid going out of business. Whatever you do for a living, I think you should do without pay. Same thing. (see comment)

I think the government should just mandate free cell phone service. And free cell phones. And all software should be free. And free computers. With free tech support. You morons. (see comment)

Where does Amy find federal government jurisdiction over wife beaters in the Constitution? That's a state matter. If you really want crime to be handled at a federal level, you'd better get happy about the federal government criminalizing everything, in … (see comment)

The code above could have been entered differently. Looks like RP is R1. He's R6. (Yes, I see how they were entered. But someone in a hurry could easily use the wrong code. (see comment)

Are you serious? Y0u want to destroy our health care system? It is because of government involvement that costs have gone through the roof. With no consumerism, costs will rise even higher, forcing government to ration what remains. You will see long … (see comment)

RON PAUL SUPPORTERS NOT ALLOWED AT TEXAS STRAW POLL!!
Comment in News (1 digg, 0 replies) - on 08/14/2007
I'm a big Ron Paul supporter, but I don't think there's anything wrong with what Texas is doing. It's their gig. This method will also keep Romney from busing in random residents, and Brownback from busing in the church ladies' social groups. (see comment)

Comment in News (6 diggs, 0 replies) - on 08/05/2007
Except they're not skipping it. They're campaigning in Iowa -- McCain was giving a speech there today. They ARE campaigning for the straw poll while saying they're skipping it. That's the kind of guys they are. (see comment)

This should be a warning to political pollsters who "weight" their data. How is "weighting" data different from falsifying results? (see comment)
