The people do no themselves no favor, nor do they fulfill the greatest commandment of the religion most Americans profess, which is to ".........and (love) thy neighbor as thyself. Allowing a regime to enslave/and or kill your family, friends, and fellow countrymen IS NOT an act of love. It is an act of apathy and cowardice.

Some of us as Christians are appointed by God Himself to be cast into prison for His glory and His will and purpose. That doesn't mean that you have no obligation to protect others along the way.

Think nothing of ranting when you must do so for your own sanity my friend. I have the disposition of a Grizzly Bear with a bad outbreak of genital herpes, and those who know me are familiar with me totally going off when I get enough. Nobody is perfect.
