This is just "a list of stuff to install in Ubuntu". For an even longer (and IMHO better) list, start Add/Remove [Applications] from the Applications menu and sort by popularity. Check what you want and Apply (see comment)

Got it! It's not possible to drag the .tar file over to Appearance to install it. Untaring it and dragging the directory over to Appearance on the other hand, works like a charm (after a restart) There's no loading cursor (see comment)

Not true. Running uTorrent with wine is just the same as running azureus in java (which you do when you run azureus). They are both virtual machines. Wine away! (see comment)
