Because- I can play rock band 4-5 hours a week and be "damn good" at the game and have a lot of fun. I need to play an instrument a couple hours a day to be "good" and not have much fun at all most of the time. (see comment)

I think guitar hero made the mistake of doing walls of notes that aren't really in place though to raise difficulty level... and I don't like that. Rock Band actually feels like I'm playing the songs when I play expert, the notes are where they should be … (see comment)
