you said recently, you've enjoyed 'lurking'... still enjoying it? i thought for a while this afternoon about the polarizing political stuff these days. i've come to the conclusion that, whatever camp one is in now, involvement in the process is more important than it used to me. maybe that's just me, but maybe not. our standing in the world, our ability to be a good neighbor and/or leader, how we treat the most vulnerable in our own society, doesn't seem to be improving. polls reflect others are feeling the same about our direction. for me, obama is part of a solution. not perfect, to be sure, but part of a larger move forward. i don't get the petty sniping coming from within the same political party. as far as the sensitivity of clinton supporters to some comments recently on digg, they get what they give. i've never seen a more respectful candidate in the face of outright rudeness. maybe i'll be like barack when i grow up. :-P for now though, I don't have that kind of restraint or passivity to the insults lobbed over to the obama camp.
