Mormon-owned company making anti-Mormon calls?

Western Wats is owned by my second cousin - I know he feels strongly about his religion. I find it hard to believe he would knowingly do this. I am willing to bet it was someone within the company that did it without his knowledge. (see comment)

There have been black Mormons since the time of Joseph Smith - it's very common. Gladys Knight, in in fact is a Mormon, as is Earl Bailey (from the Utah Jazz), and several other famous black personalities. (see comment)

Perl is still very much alive. I make a lot of money off Perl. Catalyst IMO is a much better framework than Rails, with a book expected out this fall. Perl is not dying, in fact is far from it. (see comment)

Apple Developing Backlit Trackpad?

I don't know - it doesn't sound trackpad specific. I can see this being a huge benefit on the iPhone for the touch typing - something to give a "feeling" when you press the keys on the screen so you know what you hit. (see comment)
