Maybe if it's a really good clip from the night before... then you can post it on digg so we can discuss it... but nothing else! - nreynolds, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3that same clip is on there like 300 times. And it's not even Colbert.
- SwabTheDeck, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7I can't wait until the day my own Google search results make it to the Digg home page.
- davidro, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Digg just needs to create a 'Copyrighted Content' subcategory under Videos.
But you're not going to solve the problem by reprimanding everybody - people find comfort in familiarity, so if you have the masses voting on what they want to see next, most likely it's going to be similar to what they've already seen and enjoyed. Eventually they'll get sick of it and move on to something else to overexpose. Theres no editor to jump in and say "well, thats enough of that, on to something new...", so we've got to wait until everybody has gotten tired of this.
If you get that frustrated over that, chances are you're putting too much of your time and faith into Digg. - scrubadub, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I'm well aware of how to search, thank you
