Make an Anti-DRM Video and Win a Neuros Portable DVR from FreeCulture.org watch!
freeculture.org — FreeCulture.org wants you to make an anti-drm video and upload it to any video-sharing site. We'll then choose the 5 best videos and award the creators of each a Neuros OSD (a $230 value). Preference will be given to videos licensed under CC or the Free Art license. DefectiveByDesign.org will then run select videos during the week of October 3rd.

- skyfaller, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I suppose if you can find a video-sharing site that will host it, there's nothing in the contest rules stopping you ;-) That said, many people have no desire to watch pornographic propaganda and this might limit its value as an viral educational tool. Are there any good examples of viral porn videos?
- atari, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1we didn't specify as to the content itself--our only requirement is that it's anti-DRM in some way or form (and even there, it will probably be a pretty broad interpretation, but let's just suffice it to say that if you love "playsforsure" in a non-sarcastic way you're probably not eligible). other than that, if the video is truly in bad taste, that may turn off the judges...
