Daily Express debunked for its malicious lies against British Muslims
5cc.blogspot.com — This blog entry successfully debunks and refutes the lies by the Daily Express on their ludicrous claim that Muslims are forcing their beliefs on the British people. Sure exposes the Daily Express for what they are: utter trash. Let's see what the LGF losers have to say about this.

- InfidelAl, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2This "LGF loser" says you appear to be correct. The original document http://www.mcb.org.uk/downloads/Schoolinfoguidance.pdf does not appear to say the things quoted off the Express website. Though I don't have any pull, I will email it to Charles to inform him and suggest that the post be updated to correct the inaccuracy.

http://littlegreenfootballs.com/weblog/?entry=24548_Muslim_Council_of_Britains_Sharia_Plan&only - Frottom, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1The original MCB PDF is available to download - everything in the Express article is contained therein, therefore the Express article is correct.

Did you read the whole pdf? I doubt it...
MCB:
"Whilst Muslims have no wish to constrain the freedom of others, they would urge schools to organise and manage physical education so that pupils can choose other acceptable forms of activity, for example, athletics, games, gymnastics, outdoor and adventurous activities and swimming within the curriculum.
If the above is not possible, parental requests for children to be excused from dance should be treated as an issue of religious conscience and respected accordingly."
Express:
"The report... says all schools should bring in effective bans for all pupils on “un-Islamic activities” like dance classes."
MCB:
"In general, participation in swimming is an acceptable activity whilst fasting. However, for many pupils this activity may prove to be an issue, as the potential for swallowing water is very high. Some pupils or parents consider the risk too great and may wish to avoid swimming whilst fasting. Others may take the view that as swallowing is unintentional it does not break the fast.
Schools with a significant number of Muslim pupils should try to avoid scheduling swimming lessons during Ramadan to remove unnecessary barriers to full participation."
Express:
"The holy month – when eating and drinking is not allowed in daylight hours – should also see a ban on swimming lessons in case pupils swallow water in
the pool."
Express = backwards, reactionary twaddle. I mean, come on...
"And the calls for all children to be taught in Taliban-style conditions will be launched with the help of a senior Government education adviser."
Taliban-style conditions? Does the guy who wrote this seriously think these are Taliban-style conditions? There is nothing of the sort in the MCB report, and just because 1 adviser went to the meeting, does not mean the government will 'launch' anything.
The Express is fit for nothing better than wiping my arse with.
@InfidelAl
I thought the Express was bad, but littlegreenfootballs? Have you no shame?

- hulehvalley, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0The only lie with regard to this story is your pathetic attempt at refutation.
- edinbud, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1All the express article does is cut through the MCBs touchy-feely-multiculti-talk aimed at the Dhmmis.
- CartoonAl, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2Well, at least we can tell by the image you use that you're coming at this from an intelligent, unbiased viewpoint...
I'm the first to admit there are some very 'unsavoury' elements within certain sections of the Muslim community, and almost certainly within the Muslim Council, but this article does not espouse those views. Your argument would look better with some founding. Do you have evidence of the MCB's plans to turn Britain into a 'Taliban-style' dictatorship? If so, please enlighten us... - Danial, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2The only idiots who want to turn Britain into a Taliban-style dictatorship are Abu Izzadeen and Anjem Choudhary, but no one other than the anti-Islamic crowd takes them seriously.
- CartoonAl, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2Well, at least we can tell by the image you use that you're coming at this from an intelligent, unbiased viewpoint...
- edinbud, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Regardless of your opinion of the Daily Express, the fact remains that the MCB, rather than providing advice on how Muslims might better fit into the country in which they have chosen to live, have provided guidance on how their chosen country of residence must adapt to accommodate them. And yes, on this subject the icon says everything.
