Death-row inmate says he's too fat to be excuted

cnn.com — An Ohio death row inmate who says he is too overweight to be executed took his plea to the Supreme Court on Friday.

    If I recall correctly: in Washington State, lethal injection was optional to hanging, but hanging was default and lethal injection had to be selected by the executee; Rupe refused to select lethal injection but claimed that hanging would cause decapitation and thus be cruel and unusual.

  • makeshitup, on 10/12/2008, -0/+0He has a history of doing this to avoid his deserved death, last time he claimed he was in bad health and this time he's been stealing the food of other inmates and eating the bugs from within his cell to gain as much weight as possible. He hasn't left his cell since he was put in there and rarely moves from his prison bed...all to avoid his f'in death.
