- 4wheel, on 08/27/2008, -0/+20If they would abide by our countries laws and enter legally, they'd have nothing to "fear". I wonder who paid for these illegal kids to go to our public schools? I wonder if the people paying for the education of these folks that are here illegally were asked if they minded that the tax dollars that were forced from their paychecks was used to educate illegals. I don't really wonder. We all know the answer.
- Jagdhund, on 08/27/2008, -0/+19The tone of this article makes me sick. However, the description of the government finally upholding the rights of it's real citizens is worth it. I don't give a darn if the family of criminals suffer. They made their choice to be here.
- radiofrequency, on 08/27/2008, -0/+14How about just "illegals"? There really needs to be a dialog about the immigration process in the United States. It's a sensible process and it allows people who can make a reasonable contribution to society enter the country, work here, pay taxes, engage in government and voting, and become American citizens legally. The process ensures they know enough about the language, our culture, and civic structure to be informed members of society.
When we bring illegals into the country, we're making America a worse place for all of us because we're PRETENDING they're Americans when in fact they are not. They are not contributors to our culture, pay into our tax system, or become integrated with our society as Americans. We get all these "little chinas" and "little mexicos" and "little koreas". Tell me, how many "little Americas" are there in foreign nations? - DerangedPenguin, on 08/27/2008, -0/+7No comment, sigh but I did digg it.
- Kisama, on 08/27/2008, -5/+3Illegals should be arrested and executed.
- legolas68, on 08/27/2008, -2/+3Taken to the nearest border perhaps, but not executed.
- bluto36, on 08/27/2008, -1/+3shut the ***** up. no one is talking about killing. you have just given more ammo to those who would paint the protect the borders crowd as racists that want to kill brown people. nice job.
- InRussetShadows, on 08/27/2008, -0/+8The article title is factually incorrect. This is what we call "bias" ladies, gentlemen, and reporters.
- SuperVepr308, on 08/27/2008, -0/+10The question is and has always been: are we going to enforce immigration policies or not? I know alot of these folks are already here, are working, etc etc. Still, they are here illegally. There is no grey area there regardless of how the left spins it. Illegal=deported. The End.
- BillE3, on 08/27/2008, -0/+9My wife and stepdaughter "immigrated here legally" and are now citizens. To call those illegal aliens an immigrant is a direct insult to me, my wife and her daughter. It really makes them mad to know they are respectful of law and due process and yet see the illegal aliens, who do not respect or obey law, given many preferential treatments.
- bluto36, on 08/27/2008, -0/+7Fear grips immigrants, um just the illegal ones, after Miss. plant raid.
good! - 5N00PY, on 08/27/2008, -1/+8If I were an immigrant, I would be personally offended by the title of the original article. Immigrants go through a lot of work and effort to come here legally, and it's insulting to them to lump them in with a bunch of trespassing lawbreakers.
- BigBenKlingon, on 08/27/2008, -9/+1You ARE a ***** immigrant ya ***** *****.
- DreadPirate, on 08/28/2008, -1/+3And TinyBen demonstrates once again the class and civilized behavior liberals are famous for.
- BigBenKlingon, on 08/27/2008, -9/+1You ARE a ***** immigrant ya ***** *****.
- toimenator, on 08/27/2008, -0/+2The school officials' concern about missing students is mostly about the revenue loss they suffer when attendance goes down.
