Israel passes law to revoke citizenship of Arab families
jta.org — Hours after worker rampages and bulldozes a bus-while building a train on expropriated palestinian territory in east Jerusalem the Israeli parliament voted to revoke the citizenship of alleged terrorist families. Usually their houses are bulldozed. What is incredible is that other family members are punished for crimes they didn't commit.

- ppgg, on 07/03/2008, -7/+9Thanks to Kizibash for passing on. By this measure we would be revoking all Israeli citizenship for the state terror actions of their regime, wouldn't we? If only.
- livegreenordie, on 07/03/2008, -6/+10The US has helped to create a monster-I'm waiting for a bulldozer to come up and demolish my house next. This is where the US is headed. No one body of government should be allowed this much power as they would be able to trump up charges on any citizen who decides to speak out against atrocities~
- Conspiracy20, on 07/03/2008, -3/+1Say it again, loud and long, green! The only democracy in the Middle East who wants only peace. hmmmmmmmmmm
- DrDreyfus, on 07/04/2008, -0/+3I'm pretty sure the reason Israel has to take these measures is because you consider "speaking out" to be going on a killing rampage.
- MorganMghee, on 07/03/2008, -5/+7We done good creatin a democratic influence, ain't we?
- JohnnySoftware, on 07/04/2008, -3/+6It sounds like they wish that a bulldozer wielding serial killer would go elsewhere.
That is understandable.
Read the article. Read what the guy did. They do not want him around. Would you want him in your neighborhood?
Nothing was mentioned in the text of the article that indicated the proposed legal action would be applied to any group of people en masse.
I for one would like to see the killer's drivers license taken away too. - Stevanoski, on 07/04/2008, -8/+7Can't say as I can blame them. I bet all of you are up in arms about how no Jew can be a citizen of any Arab country too. Hypocrits.
- FrankHope, on 07/04/2008, -5/+6There are Jews in Iran. Liar.
- Stevanoski, on 07/04/2008, -3/+4no full citizenship rights lying antisemite.
- Kizilbash, on 07/05/2008, -0/+3You are such a brainless tool (as well as a racist scumbag). Can you even read? Then try this:
"A Jewish female lawmaker has been named as one of Bahrain's ambassadors.
Huda Azra Ibrahim Nunu is thought to be the first Jewish woman in the Arab world to be appointed to an ambassador's post.
It's not known where she will be posted, but some news reports said Nunu is slated to become her country's ambassador to the United States." http://edition.cnn.com/2008/WORLD/meast/05/30/jewi ...

- FrankHope, on 07/04/2008, -7/+3Wow. I didn't see this kind of response when a bulldozer driver killed an American Citizen - Rachel Corrie. I guess American lives aren't worth as much as Jewish lives.
- DrDreyfus, on 07/04/2008, -0/+4Give it a rest. Many eyewitness accounts regard it as an accident.
"some of the ISM activists present at the scene allege Corrie was run over deliberately. ISM members have also stated that the driver lost sight of Corrie before she was injured, or did not see her at all."
Also, it's completely unrelated. The IDF soldier didn't tear through the crowd with the intent of killing everyone in sight
Don't you mean Zionists? ***** you.
Thirdly, I am Jewish and American. Is my life worth Jewish*American
or just Jewish because it's the most and you can't double up?

- dkapuchino, on 07/04/2008, -2/+3You're joking, right?
If an Arab was to kill another Arab, instead of a Jew, blood revenge would dictate they kill the attackers family.
If my wife was to go and torch someone Else's house, they'd sue, and we'd lose our house.
If my son was to go poke another child's eyes out, his parents would sue, and once again I'd lose my home.
Why should this be any different?- source1984, on 07/04/2008, -2/+2"If an Arab was to kill another Arab, instead of a Jew, blood revenge would dictate they kill the attackers family." - UMM, NO, NOT AT ALL. Thats not what "blood revenge" dictates.
"If my wife was to go and torch someone Else's house, they'd sue, and we'd lose our house.
If my son was to go poke another child's eyes out, his parents would sue, and once again I'd lose my home." - It's WAY DIFFERENT, because they're bypassing any legal system here. If your son murdered someone -- they would give your son the death penalty -- not take away your house. where the hell are you getting your law from? where in the world does a guilty person's family suffer for the guilty -- except Israel.

- chrisjj, on 07/04/2008, -3/+3This is another example of Israel's Nazi-like collective punishment of all Palestinians as a result of the actions of one Palestinian. Apparently the driver of the bulldozer was mentally unstable which is hardly surprising given the way Palestinians are mistreated in Israel and in the occupied territories. In any civilized country, the perpetrator would have been arrested and brought to justice for this criminal act. One can only wonder whether this Palestinian had earlier been forced by the Israeli authorities to demolish a Palestinian home in occupied East Jerusalem with that same Caterpillar bulldozer (since often non-Jews are made to do home demolitions, sometimes with Palestinians still inside their house). We never get any background information in the MSM on incidents such as this. Compare this over-reported incident with the lack of reporting of Rachel Corrie's death under an Israeli bulldozer again driven my either a madman or some IDF bigot.
- Tangaroa, on 07/04/2008, -2/+3"expropriated palestinian territory"? What *****. Buried as inaccurate.
