Motorcyclist 'deliberately' kills teenager, avoids prison
metro.co.uk — A cyclist killed a teenage girl when he mounted the pavement after refusing to brake or swerve, a court has heard. The guy got a simple £2,000 ($4,000) fine and no prison sentence. Digg if you think this is obscene.

Kill an animal illegally and practically get put away for life, but sexually abuse a kid for 10 years in Vermont and do 3 months. Is it just me or is something seriously wrong in the head with these judges?

- squeekyzebra, on 07/09/2008, -1/+1I mean yeah he was kinda a dick not swerving for them but you left out some key info in your description. She had been drinking. Her friend said she was fine. DUH! When was the last time you told police that your friend was drunk when they got killed.
Anyway he didn't really kill her according to the story he "knocked her out and she never regained consciousness." It isn't clear why she didn't but maybe it had something to do with alcohol. Maybe it was because of him but maybe not.
The story is also biased because it makes it seem as though the defense attorney is lying when there is no evidence provided that shows that her attorney is telling the truth.
