OK to sell a no-frills F-22A Raptor to allies?
ajc.com — Congress has a law against selling technologically advanced F-22A Raptor fighters to foreign governments. But what about a no-frills model? Defense officials have suggested that selling F-22As to Japan would lower unit costs for the Air Force. U.S. Sen. John Warner, chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee, thinks a foreign deal could work.
