- Picaroon, on 05/14/2008, -5/+25As sweatyyeti pointed out, this is wrong. The guy was sniped--it says so right on the screen. That only shows up in Halo if you were actually shot in the head by an opponent's sniper rifle.

Because if he got sniped by a blue team member wouldn't the kill counter in the lower right register a 2:0 lead for blue as opposed to the 0:0 tie? One thing's for sure, he wasn't the guy with the ricocheting bullet, because if he really killed himself you'd hear the "Suicide" announcement. I know there is a "Betrayal" announcement as well, but it's quite random for Halo3 to use it or not. So it might as well be the guy behind him firing the ricocheting bullet that ended their virtual lives so early.

Let's talk basic math and science here: the rule is, "the angle of reflection equals the angle of incidence." If you watch the movie, the supposedly rebounding shot was fired at a wall facing parallel to the two players that were killed. To ricochet the way this dork describes, the bullet would have had to had to strike the wall exactly perpendicular to the wall's surface. Instead, it hits it at a ~20 degree angle, and is undoubtably traveling further to the right (from the perspective of the shooter) at the moment of this guy's death.

Just leave the damn replays on your machine and show close friends, I would hope the vast majority here does not want to watch these "Double Ricochet Suicide with a sniper!" or '"Insane Halo 3 triple kill" videos. Besides, the time it takes you to make these stupid videos could be put to use actually playing the game.
