Top 10 Xbox 360 Games You Should Have
mannpill.com — Here is a list of this authors opinion of great xbox 360 games. I love my xbox 360 but i am more into the sports games than this guy, but I really like Halo 3 and Gears of War. Here is his list of 10.

- orlando37, on 12/11/2007, -29/+2I always buy NCAA football and Madden but this year I did not get Madden because I did not hear great things and I did not love the NCAA upgrades. I love Tiger Woods 08 though, that and Halo 3 are awesome.
- ScottoGato, on 12/11/2007, -0/+7Sports games really aren't for everybody. They're really for those sports fans that love to play games. Even then, you'll have those who want the arcade feel where you can juke your way through a 8-man front and score the 80-yard touchdown while high-stepping...and there are those who want the sports simulation.
This years Madden was horrible. I played maybe a couple games, and gave up on it...this coming from a guy that wears out every football game he owns. I ended up buying NCAA Football after this years Madden failure. - screwfanboys1, on 12/11/2007, -1/+6holy ***** they're gonna bury your ass
- Elranzer, on 12/12/2007, -0/+3Dugg for username and correct use of "they're."

- Nathrat, on 12/11/2007, -30/+14Crackdown doesn't fit. Take that out and slide in Rainbow Six Vegas.
- RiverBelow, on 12/11/2007, -0/+2I'm not gonna lie, I bought Crackdown for the Halo 3 Beta, but I ended up falling in love with it. I still put it in from time to time, the co-op is fantastic. I would buy a Crackdown 2 with 4 player online co-op in a second. Rainbow Six Vegas is a great game and I loved it, if anything it should replace either GH or RB. IMO, Rock Band, just because I'm pissed at the fact that there's no Online World Tour mode.
- Velirno, on 12/11/2007, -0/+1Meh, COD4 trumped any of my Vegas time once I got it.
- BearinG, on 12/11/2007, -0/+1Same here.. bought Crackdown for Halo 3 but actually found it pretty good.. not sure why everyone NEEDS 2 rhythm based games.. I have played GH and do enjoy it, but I would place Orange box on there before those 2 or maybe some other games..at least for games EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE

- Tserk, on 12/11/2007, -17/+52Crackdown is worthy of a top 5 mention in any Xbox GOTY discussion and certainly is worthy of a top 10 games you should own for the platform.
- navster15, on 12/11/2007, -9/+10Totally agreed. Assassin's Creed may get all the press due to it's graphics and setting, but Crackdown actually nails the 'fun' aspect.
- betterth, on 12/11/2007, -0/+6Attaching mirror to top dugg comment :p
http://72.14.209.104/search?hs=sUq&hl=en&lr=&c2cof ...- Spytap, on 12/11/2007, -6/+2Man, a full half of these are avail on other systems. No Xbox 360 needed.
- revenge7, on 12/11/2007, -0/+3Sure, if you ignore the other full (not empty?) half.
- 232430, on 12/11/2007, -1/+2Hmm, what are these "other systems" you are referring to.
- DarkShroud, on 12/11/2007, -4/+2PS3 and of course the PC, you know that thing that just about all 360 games are also on.
- strictnein, on 12/11/2007, -0/+2The mirror is slower than the actual site, which is still up.
- Spytap, on 12/11/2007, -6/+2Man, a full half of these are avail on other systems. No Xbox 360 needed.
- battletrax, on 12/11/2007, -8/+1You must be smoking, crackdown is not fun at all, Sure you run around, blow stuff up, but it gets boring as heck.
- Nobi-Wan, on 12/11/2007, -0/+3How is running around and blowing stuff up ever boring?
That being said, we need a Die Hard game like that.
- plethorex, on 12/11/2007, -23/+9Remove Crackdown, add GRAW2. Then we're good to go.
- internetcoward, on 12/11/2007, -16/+5No crachdown! Orange Box, Rainbow Six Vegas, Skate, anything else I guess you could think of...
- dronkmunk, on 12/11/2007, -1/+3So many good games for the 360 it is ***** hard to pick a top ten!
Amirite???
- dronkmunk, on 12/11/2007, -1/+3So many good games for the 360 it is ***** hard to pick a top ten!
- Dreamscar, on 12/11/2007, -5/+54What the hell is with all these pointless mannpill articles making it to digg?
- logicbus, on 12/11/2007, -0/+5Amazon referrals.
- Trav3133, on 12/11/2007, -0/+1No different than all those other sites like arstech or kotaku. they all suck equally.
- Natetendo83, on 12/11/2007, -23/+51Crackdown? Oh yea, that game that sold because it had the Halo 3 beta
- Sornos, on 12/11/2007, -1/+32A shame at that. It was a fantastic game. A little shallow, but fun was there to be found. I had a great time with it.
- battletrax, on 12/11/2007, -6/+2I didn't
- estvir, on 12/11/2007, -1/+2Do you want a hug?
- battletrax, on 12/11/2007, -6/+2I didn't
- DocDEB, on 12/11/2007, -0/+5I bought it only because of the Halo 3 beta. While waiting for the beta decided I might as well have a look at what I bought and ended up playing Crackdown instead of Halo 3 beta. I got my money's worth. Now pardon me while I jump to that roof top over there.
- ninjakoala, on 12/11/2007, -0/+1Aye. Crackdown was quite the sleeper hit. I think I've put more hours into Crackdown than any of my other games in recent times. The online co-op is great and the DLC made it an even better game. Best sandbox ever in my book.
- joegibes, on 12/11/2007, -0/+1Halo 3 Beta -- Only $60! With bonus Crackdown game included!
- Sornos, on 12/11/2007, -1/+32A shame at that. It was a fantastic game. A little shallow, but fun was there to be found. I had a great time with it.
- bdub92, on 12/11/2007, -17/+11Take out Assassins Creed and Crackdown and replace with orange box and Graw2 and this list is great.
- estvir, on 12/11/2007, -1/+1Somehow you manage to make an awful list worse.
You deserve a medal.
- estvir, on 12/11/2007, -1/+1Somehow you manage to make an awful list worse.
- whatthefu, on 12/11/2007, -7/+104I don't see why people dislike Crackdown. I thought it was really fun to play.
- Cathartik, on 12/11/2007, -0/+5It needed more things to do on the side and it was pretty short. I still enjoyed it though.
- BearinG, on 12/11/2007, -0/+1Agreed, some were expecting more GTA aspects like more sides missions and story maybe.. But i still enjoyed it too.. They could potentially make something better in Crackdown 2...
- dantidote, on 12/11/2007, -1/+2Finally somebody agrees.
- davidrools, on 12/11/2007, -9/+4Crappy storyline, mediocre graphics, and nothing really new...
but hell yeah it's fun to be able to jump 10 story buildings and throw trucks. playing this game is like being ON crack. - Christbait, on 12/11/2007, -0/+4Single player is a bit forgettable but it's a killer game if you have some friends to play with and ***** around with the crazy weapons and physics in a huge open world.
- Cathartik, on 12/11/2007, -0/+5It needed more things to do on the side and it was pretty short. I still enjoyed it though.
- Fox318, on 12/11/2007, -13/+3Remove Rock Band and Guitar hero and replace it with Orange Box and Graw2.
Crackdown is an awesome game and deserves to be on that list.- Fox318, on 12/11/2007, -1/+8Sorry for comment abuse but upon thinking Rainbow 6 Vegas is better than Graw2.
- TheDanderson, on 12/11/2007, -16/+8Where the hell is Orange Box?
Oh, and Gears of War is fun, but overrated.- davidrools, on 12/11/2007, -3/+3Orange box is on the PC where it belongs, in my opinion (i have all the games on the list and like em a lot but i guess HL isn't the same on a console after years with a mouse and keyboard)
- GibitStylin, on 12/11/2007, -0/+7Orange box is wonderful on the 360.... I prefer a mouse, but i am still good on consoles... If for no reason alone, u should put the orange box on this list for PORTAL.
- manitoba98xp, on 12/11/2007, -2/+2The cake is a lie.
- GibitStylin, on 12/11/2007, -0/+7Orange box is wonderful on the 360.... I prefer a mouse, but i am still good on consoles... If for no reason alone, u should put the orange box on this list for PORTAL.
- rmeddy, on 12/11/2007, -3/+3Halo 3 is overrated.
- aazn, on 12/11/2007, -0/+1Who can not possibly love the Orange Box? It takes a special kind of person not to.
- davidrools, on 12/11/2007, -3/+3Orange box is on the PC where it belongs, in my opinion (i have all the games on the list and like em a lot but i guess HL isn't the same on a console after years with a mouse and keyboard)

- DrunkenDevil, on 12/11/2007, -3/+1Anyone have a mirror? It broke.
- BrettTheUser, on 12/11/2007, -6/+88BioShock
Freakin amazing! That’s all that can be said. It’s stunning to look at, the controls are spot on and the story is very good. This is one of the most mind-blowing games ever. The atmosphere is perfect and I never once felt disconnected from the game. This is the type of game that will show you why you bought that HD TV and Bose speaker system. Do you have that friend who can’t understand what’s so great about video games? Sit them down in front of this game and watch them as they realize what they’ve been missing.
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
Possibly the greatest game ever created. I found myself spending many hours just wandering in search of chance encounters and hidden caves to explore. The Game of the Year Edition has the original game along with the Nights of the Nine and the expansion Shivering Isles. This game has been out for a while on PC and Xbox 360, but it never loses appeal or replay value. I’ve played through about 4 times now and every time I choose a new character and do everything in a different order. I doubt I’ll ever grow tired of playing it.
Halo 3
I loved Halo and I kinda liked Halo 2, but Halo 3 is definitely where it’s at. Great graphics, sound and animation. Nice smooth controls and lots of action. Weapons and vehicles were as good as expected and the whole experience was as fun as the first. Now here is my favorite part… online co-op play. OMG! Now, I like getting my ass kicked by 12 year olds as much as anyone else, but when you get some friends and play through the campaign together ON YOUR OWN SCREENS it makes a good game even better. I hate playing split screen for a lot of reasons and don’t actually want to see where everyone is and what they are doing. It adds to the excitement and the tension.

Rock Band
What an awesome experience. This game allows you to play Guitar, Bass, Drums, or vocals. The full blown purchase gets you the drum kit, guitar and a microphone. It’s easy to figure out why it’s more desirable than Guitar Hero III, but put the instruments down for a second. Check out the songs list. It’s incredible. If you only compared Apples to Apples here and played the songs through on guitar, Rock Bands wins out. The songs are awesome and the downloads offer even more (Black Sabbath, Metallica, The Police...).
Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock
I’m not saying GH3 isn’t good. It’s an awesome game. The songs are great as well. It’s like playing GH2 with new songs. And that’s fine with me since I really loved GH2. This release steps it up and really kicks ass. Not everyone is happy about the “Boss” battles, but if you can’t beat them, you can still move on through the game.
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
WOW. All I can say is WOW! I have been a COD fan for a while. I thought that COD2 was going to be hard to beat, but beat it they did. Into submission. This game is so intense and exciting, I found it hard to get to sleep after playing it. In fact, a couple of nights went by with no sleep at all. I tried. I’d turn off the game and go lie down. Then about 15 minutes later I’d be up again playing. It’s that good…
Assassin's Creed
It’s no Elder Scrolls: Oblivion, but it’s still an awesome game. Everything is right about this game. The controls, the environment, the animation. It looks amazing. There is a lot of story to be had here and it might feel at times like your watching more than playing, but it’s worth it. Just stand on a rooftop and look around. This game actually plays out my favorite part of Oblivion; the Dark Brotherhood. You are given “targets” to eliminate throughout the game, and you choose the way you would like to carry out the orders. There are side missions and goals along the way (like finding flags in the way you found packages in GTA). Dark room + HD TV + surround sound = Long Nights…
Gears of War
I loved this game the moment I started playing it. Some things bothered me at first like the fact that is was third person and it was pretty linier and not very open ended, but that quickly gave way when the action started. It’s a blur when I think back on it. So much happened so quickly. Co-op was a blast and that’s where a lot of the fun comes from. It was great when you got into a bit of trouble and had to yell to your buddy to bail you out. Especially since the reason you were in so much trouble was because you just got done bailing HIM out! Level design, creatures, weapons, and controls are all top notch.
Mass Effect
Action First Person Shooter meets Role Playing Game. On top of that it's made by the same people that did Star Ware Knights of The Old Republic, Bioware. I love games where your decisions actually matter. Yeah it has its warts like every game out there. But this game is a sci-fi geek's dream come true.
Crackdown
This is like GTA meets Hulk: Ultimate Destruction. You’re a super cop whose job it is to get rid of the gangs plaguing the city. You collect orbs that add to your attributes making you faster and stronger and better with firearms and driving or jump higher and make bigger explosions. This game is so much fun and so addictive that it’s almost impossible to stop playing. Get this game and then get a friend to get this game then get online and play co-op. It’s a blast! The two of you will wreak so much havoc and have so much fun, you may never sleep again. I remember climbing up a building and looking out across the city and seeing a huge explosion in the distance with flaming bodies and cars launching into the sky from the street below. I yelled into my microphone to my friend, “HEY! Wait for me!!” as I jumped from rooftop to rooftop to join in on the fun. Good times…- lawngnomes4pres, on 12/11/2007, -0/+16well thats one way to mirror... thanks
- mywhitenoise, on 12/11/2007, -5/+19Bose speaker system? BOSE SPEAKER SYSTEM!?
***** THAT! I sold my piece of ***** Acoustimass system (I was young, dumb, and my room is small) to some other dumbass for $500. Bought 5 speakers that sound 3x better than those pieces of crap with the money. I will never buy Bose again.
It's true what other users say Buy Other Stereo Equipment. No highs, no lows? Must be Bose.- BearinG, on 12/11/2007, -0/+2Seriously, everyone who enjoys superior sound quality that's based not only on marketing totally disregards Bose. Special limited time infomercials/commercials TV offers for Bose are also an indication of what the brand is nowadays.
- stev31h, on 12/11/2007, -0/+7Unlimited Video Game Rentals FTW!
- adraft, on 12/11/2007, -2/+3I absolutely love Oblivion until I was doing the last mission for the Grey Fox and a frickin door in the dungeon refused to open. I called the Bethesda SW helpline and the woman was no help and it turned me off of the game completely. Also, in my opinion, the multiplayer in GOW is so broken it's not worth even trying to go on live with it. The campaign was pretty cool though.
- atonement, on 12/11/2007, -0/+1[rant] Ehhhhh I was not pleased with neither Rock Band nor GH3... I'm not sure what it was. I'd go with RB over GH3 just because of the group fun, but it's way more fun to play NCAA 08 with a friend than to assemble a "band." Bioshock wasn't very fun to me either though... I guess I have no soul? Mass Effect def. deserved GOTY though... maybe with ME:2? Assasssin's Creed is golden if you're renting it... kind of a waste of $60 if you bought it like I did (although the graphics are insane.../wrist with repetitiveness). Halo 3 is great fun mainly due to all of the ***** that happens while playing online. It's hilarious watching friends boil over due to some unprovoked death. Add skate to that list and I'll be cool. [/rant] You should stop reading these and I should be studying for history... ***** it, I'm going to frag some kids online
- MrNexus, on 12/11/2007, -0/+1They left out The Orange Box.
- TheNeonNinja, on 12/11/2007, -17/+12Eh, Crackdown was OK. Assassins Creed was great though.
- Alucard010, on 12/11/2007, -9/+11Assassins Creed is a repeating piece of ***** with clunky combat mechanics.
- betterth, on 12/11/2007, -1/+2I enjoyed it, "clunky" mechanics and repetition included.
- Edrick, on 12/11/2007, -0/+3Man, what is with the Assassin's Creed hate? Is it so you can claim to be "above the hype" or something?
Yes, it does get pretty repetitive, unfortunately, but the game mechanics WORK. Jumping from rooftop to rooftop, scaling buildings, seamlessly assassinating an unsuspecting rooftop guard, it all works great. The combat is nothing special but once you get used to it (which doesn't take long) it can be fun.
I would implore anyone with a PS3 or 360 to at least rent this. I can understand not wanting to finish it, but at least play to experience the mechanics put in place, they work great, and the main assassinations are fun. It's not GOTY but it most certainly worth checking out.
- Alucard010, on 12/11/2007, -9/+11Assassins Creed is a repeating piece of ***** with clunky combat mechanics.
- Maddenman2000, on 12/11/2007, -7/+2http://www.duggmirror.com/
- haveacigar, on 12/11/2007, -0/+3I dont see why people get dugg down for posting the duggmirror link when it doesnt work as it gives you access to more links that do...
like this one http://209.85.135.104/search?hs=sUq&hl=en&lr=&c2co ...
and i have 7 out of 10
- haveacigar, on 12/11/2007, -0/+3I dont see why people get dugg down for posting the duggmirror link when it doesnt work as it gives you access to more links that do...
- nowherekido3, on 12/11/2007, -12/+2who the hell cares
- ImperiumMarine, on 12/11/2007, -15/+1WOW, I never thought heard of a game called error 500. I guess it must be good because you seem to be saying that it made every spot in the top ten list.
- omgwthlol, on 12/11/2007, -2/+3fail
- P373Y, on 12/11/2007, -0/+10i was thinking about making a comment like that, but then i thought. what kind of a d-bag would do something stupid like that, then i saw your comment.
- jjb123, on 12/11/2007, -2/+63No orange box!? What is this madness?
- Mikhail101, on 12/11/2007, -4/+20Orange box over halo 3 anyday
- Import98, on 12/11/2007, -4/+17Orange Box is best on PC. At least IMO.
- BearinG, on 12/11/2007, -0/+2It still deserves to be played on the 360 if you have one.
- Christbait, on 12/11/2007, -8/+2Yeah but still.. TOB on the 360 kicks Halo 3. That's how bad Halo 3 is to some of us.
- sinurgy, on 12/11/2007, -2/+18All Bungie needs to do is create a bundle that has Halo 1, 2 and 3 as well as some puzzle game. Then wait a couple of years and release it. Then we can hear everyone whine about how Gears of War 2 is way over hyped and how it's really all about the Green Box!!
- DarkShroud, on 12/11/2007, -0/+1If the updated the graphics to native 1080p, stream lined the story mode, added all the map packs, and gave an option for dedicated servers on a console then the Grean Box would be worth it.
- aazn, on 12/11/2007, -1/+1The problem there is that their games are only decent, but HL2 is ***** epic. Also, they don't have Portal. You can't just "make a puzzle game" as epic as Portal. You just don't understand.
- Import98, on 12/11/2007, -4/+17Orange Box is best on PC. At least IMO.
- gozilla09, on 12/11/2007, -8/+2Madness?....THIS...IS...SPARTA!!
- battletrax, on 12/11/2007, -1/+2THIS.... IS.... OVERUSED!!
- darkphenox, on 12/11/2007, -0/+1The guy set him up for it though
- battletrax, on 12/11/2007, -1/+2THIS.... IS.... OVERUSED!!
- Mikhail101, on 12/11/2007, -4/+20Orange box over halo 3 anyday
- thatsbologna, on 12/11/2007, -2/+8I had more fun with Crackdown...the online Co-Op gave it the edge over Assassin's IMO
- orlando37, on 12/11/2007, -7/+2it works for me. i dont understand. do I have a more powerful connection?
- smurf22, on 12/11/2007, -24/+3Guitar hero
Rock band
Assassins creed
Halo 3
Crackdown
Don't deserve o be on that list.- jtq1, on 12/11/2007, -3/+9Halo 3 doesn't deserve to be in the top ten list of games 360 owners should have? really?
- smurf22, on 12/11/2007, -6/+7Yes, its single player fails, and its multiplayer is just like halo 2.
- fubuvsfitch, on 12/11/2007, -1/+5Wrong. There are TONS of new things in the multiplayer that make it far superior to 2.
- bagboyrebel, on 12/11/2007, -1/+2define "TONS".
- Spor, on 12/11/2007, -1/+2Including the ***** glitches that bungie refuses to accept. That pile of ***** hasn't touched my box since cod4 came out.
- mrgreenjeans9, on 12/11/2007, -0/+1single player DOES fail. horribly.
- BearinG, on 12/11/2007, -0/+1Then play Coop.
- fubuvsfitch, on 12/11/2007, -1/+5Wrong. There are TONS of new things in the multiplayer that make it far superior to 2.
- smurf22, on 12/11/2007, -6/+7Yes, its single player fails, and its multiplayer is just like halo 2.
- bangerznmash, on 12/11/2007, -0/+1You, sir are an idiot. I will grant you Halo 3, because that game IS crap, but to say that people shouldn't even own some of the greatest, most original games to come out on the 360 is stupid (Assassins Creed included, I loved it.)
- jtq1, on 12/11/2007, -3/+9Halo 3 doesn't deserve to be in the top ten list of games 360 owners should have? really?
- MorningZ, on 12/11/2007, -4/+2lol, even the duggmirror is throwing a 500 error..... long live Digg!! :-)
- ncraig, on 12/11/2007, -7/+3Take out Crackdown and Assassins Creed, both of those I would say are rents, hell I beat Assassins Creed and then sold it right away to get Mass Effect (3 days after buying it). Both games are fun for like 1-2 hours, and then you're like wow I am just doing the same thing over and over again...
Throw in skate. and Orange Box.- fotodevil, on 12/11/2007, -1/+1By your standards, I'd put Bioshock in that category too. I did rent it, just to see if it was worth buying. I beat it pretty quickly (and I have never beaten a game that I rented without incurring serious late fees). Therefore, I didn't buy it. Assassin's creed on the other hand, I did buy and am having a blast without (to be fair, Bioshock is a great game and I think everyone should give it a whirl)
- Spor, on 12/11/2007, -0/+0Skate is an excellent game. It's everything I ever wanted the Tony Hawk series to be, realistic. I probably enjoy it more than the average person being that I did skate everyday through high school.
- metallikop, on 12/11/2007, -8/+7Is this guy the authoritative 360 expert? Why does this guy's blog get to make it to the front page of Digg? He's just some guy. I'm sure everyone that's played the top title games (me) could make a top ten list and it would be a lot different then his. Everyone's opinions differ, this is worthless.
- worthone, on 12/11/2007, -0/+2Protip: authoritative 360 experts cannot spout infallible facts. They're just opinions.
- Spor, on 12/11/2007, -0/+0You are worthless.

http://www.zjdfdr.com/main.asp 电加热器 - Dustgunner, on 12/11/2007, -1/+29This needs Dead Rising, The Orange Box, Rainbow Six Vegas, and a few others.
- BackEnThaWomb, on 12/11/2007, -4/+3dead rising made me want to vomit. i absolutely hated that game.
- taxman, on 12/11/2007, -5/+5I would remove AC,GH and Rock band and put in Dead rising, R6 and PGR4
- betterth, on 12/11/2007, -0/+2I would put Rock Band above Dead Rising, R6 and PGR4. The only interesting game of your three is Dead Rising, as R6 is just a graphically updated version of every other god damn Clancy game I've played since the 64, and PGR is just a shinier not-quite-Forza-or-Gran-Turismo racer. Rock Band however is revolutionary and amazing.
Btw, I R6:Vegas and PGR:4, I'm just trolling.- BearinG, on 12/11/2007, -0/+1I would put Forza 2 before PGR4 for sure.. I loved PGR3 and played PGR4.. but its just not the same.. Driving in real snow does NOT feel that way. specially not going 100mph.. or on a motorcycle.
- adraft, on 12/11/2007, -0/+2The multi player in R6 was incredibly fun, I'd buy the game just for that alone, I wish CoD4 allowed for the same armor customization. Plus, nothing beat the thrill of discovering a weapon that fit your play style perfectly (FAMAS was incredible, G3 also fun) and the cover system worked great (except for the exploits like glitch window). PGR:4 though, I dunno, it just doesn't do it for me. I prefer the Gran Turismo series and would freak if it came to 360.
And is Dead Rising worth the purchase? I downloaded the demo and it had fun game play but it just didn't seem worth buying.- taxman, on 12/11/2007, -0/+3If you have an HDTV, why not. Its around 30$ now. I love that game and havent even played the story mode. I just put the game in and do my own *****. I am upto level 25 without playing more than 1 hour of the story.
- bagboyrebel, on 12/11/2007, -0/+2Dead rising is a really fun game, I would say it's worth the purchase.
- Spor, on 12/11/2007, -0/+2If a racing game was to hit the top 10 it would have to be Forza 2.
- betterth, on 12/11/2007, -0/+2I would put Rock Band above Dead Rising, R6 and PGR4. - piznut, on 12/11/2007, -20/+1Who can afford 10 xb360 games? I mean you are gonna spend $600 just to catch the thing up to ps3 in terms of features.
- Memnochxx, on 12/11/2007, -0/+10How much are PS3 games, and what are you talking about? You're a retard.
- TheDarkTipper, on 12/11/2007, -2/+4***** you and your bitch-ass ways. Fanboy.
- staticblake, on 12/11/2007, -0/+6Can you please elaborate?....Wait nevermind Sony fanboys make no sense. How can you champion a game console that provides and inferior gaming experience? At least you have Home coming.....oh and LittleBigPlanet. Talk about your killer apps.
- staticblake, on 12/11/2007, -0/+2Dammit I hate not being able to fix my typos. Should read "that provides an inferior gaming experience".
- Kev585, on 12/11/2007, -0/+3Whatever you say fanboy
- betterth, on 12/11/2007, -1/+6...?
Right, spend all the extra money on superfluous features we don't want. Wireless internet is inherently laggy, HD-DVD is nice, but totally unrequired for GAMING, and we already have harddrives, wireless controllers and a much better online experience. So tell me, what does the PS3 offer that's so much better? It's certainly not your games.- bagboyrebel, on 12/11/2007, -0/+2While I disagree with the parent comment, I do have to say that I have used the wireless adapter for my 360 and haven't had any problems with it. If it's laggy then you probably just have a crappy router.
- pnmoore, on 12/11/2007, -0/+1ditto, wireless adapter and no problems whatsoever...ever.
- betterth, on 12/11/2007, -0/+1I have the best consumer gaming router money buys and the fastest cable connection available in the Atlanta metro area. If you don't notice anything, you probably aren't an avid gamer or never played computer games etc.
Halo does a decent job of hiding the latency, but to me the difference between wireless and wired is the difference between night and day.

- skubiszm, on 12/11/2007, -3/+8Or you can spend $600 for a PS3 with no games!
- DarkShroud, on 12/11/2007, -0/+1Try again, no PS3 currently costs $600. It's $400-$500 depending on the model.
- schoate09, on 12/11/2007, -2/+7Lets see
Blu-ray: Yet to see proof why this is required. HD-DVD add on is only for movies.
Cell+RSX: Yet to see the "superiority" 360 has the best looking games
Wireless: Unnecessary, and useless for intense gaming. Wireless is too laggy for online games.
Home: A useless glitter that will probably get boring soon after release.
Games: 360 takes it.
Online: Sure, 360 costs money, but it's a vastly superior service.- Spor, on 12/11/2007, -0/+1Not to mention if you can't afford $4 a month to play online you should take your console back.
- DarkShroud, on 12/11/2007, -1/+1Why pay if you can get it for free.
- staticblake, on 12/11/2007, -0/+1You can't get "it" for free. PSN is not even comparable to XBL.
- DarkShroud, on 12/13/2007, -1/+1XBL doesn't have that much over PSN. If XBL used dedicated servers or gave users the option to set them up then I wouldn't complain about paying for Live. What features does XBL have that PSN doesn't.
- DarkShroud, on 12/11/2007, -1/+1Why pay if you can get it for free.
- Spor, on 12/11/2007, -0/+1Not to mention if you can't afford $4 a month to play online you should take your console back.
- Christbait, on 12/11/2007, -1/+2I hope one day, the world will unite together and learn why DESPERATE PS3 FANBOYS MAKE NO ***** SENSE!
- DarkShroud, on 12/11/2007, -1/+1I could careless about a lot of this garbage from both sides. However the PS3 uses dedicated servers that allow 30+ players for matches as opposed to Lives p2p. Sorry, but I won't pay for p2p connections.
- kingdomdude, on 12/11/2007, -1/+11I don't care what anyone says I like Crackdown.
There are a lot of great FPS games, but not a lot of sandbox platforming super cop games. What it lacked in variety it made up for in Co-Op and plain old fashion fun. - robwolf100, on 12/11/2007, -1/+16Is Rock Band a must have game? I don't have enough floor space in my room to set the game up. Plus I don't know anyone who I would really want to hear sing.
- battletrax, on 12/11/2007, -0/+1you can play the game with the guitar only, or drums only. Go to your local gamestop and pick up the first guitar hero. Its addictive.

- Valnar300, on 12/11/2007, -0/+2Anybody remember Dead Rising?
It was and still is a great party, play-until-you-die-then-its-my-turn game, - BearinG, on 12/11/2007, -0/+1I thought the demo for Tenchu was the worst game I had ever played on the 360... almost of all time..
- Kayisadinosaur, on 12/11/2007, -7/+14I'M SICK OF TOP 10's.
- fotodevil, on 12/11/2007, -1/+6I'm sick of any list that isn't a multiple of 5 (e.g. top 9s, top 48s, etc).
- petard, on 12/11/2007, -0/+2at least this isn't as bad as letterman's top 10.
- SharkyTech, on 12/11/2007, -1/+1Yeah, Top 10 Lists are on my Top Ten List of things I'm sick of....
- KMartSheriff, on 12/11/2007, -5/+29I'm sure I'll get dugg down for this, but Bioshock wasn't as amazing as everyone makes it out to be. I mean it was good, sure, but nothing groundbreaking.
- DarkShroud, on 12/11/2007, -2/+6Most people hyping the game have never played PC FPS games, especially Bioshock's predecessor System Shock.
- bagboyrebel, on 12/11/2007, -2/+2I've played FPSs for a while and I thought Bioshock was definately worth my money. I have aslo played system shock 2 and I do like that game, but Bioshock was more focused on the combat and less on the skill system.
- BearinG, on 12/11/2007, -1/+2Agreed.. a good game but a bit over hyped by the players. I think its the kind of game that single players have been waiting for though. My buddy that basically never plays online and only likes to finish singleplayer games adores this game. Best game in the world for him. Definitly deserves to be played though.. at least rented
- DarkShroud, on 12/11/2007, -2/+6Most people hyping the game have never played PC FPS games, especially Bioshock's predecessor System Shock.

- zenerdiode, on 12/11/2007, -3/+8How's anybody gonna take your list seriously if you're actually proud of a BOSE system?
- fubuvsfitch, on 12/11/2007, -2/+11I don't trust anything this guy says if he thinks "everything is right" about Assasin's Creed. Furthermore, I don't put any stock in what this guy thinks if he can't tell the difference between First Person and Third Person Shooters. (See Mass Effect).
- lotar732, on 12/11/2007, -0/+5Agreed. By the end of the article I was expecting a Kane & Lynch GOTY nomination.
- fubuvsfitch, on 12/11/2007, -3/+2haha i've heard about that game...
- lotar732, on 12/11/2007, -0/+5Agreed. By the end of the article I was expecting a Kane & Lynch GOTY nomination.
- iborobotosis23, on 12/11/2007, -0/+3Was this a list of top 10 360 games since its release or since like last year? A hell of a lot of those games just came out. Yes they're good games and I agree with all the games on there that I've played but take a step back further than a few months and there's probably a lot of gems that were missed.
- Lennalf, on 12/11/2007, -1/+3Like... Geometry Wars?
Honestly, even six months ago, there weren't many exciting games out. The best thing on 360 was still Gears of War, and 2nd best was Geometry Wars. For whatever reason, a whole barrage of quality games have come out just in the last few months, both for 360 and PC.- aazn, on 12/11/2007, -0/+1Agreed, Geometry Wars rapes. My highscore is 2mil.
- BearinG, on 12/11/2007, -0/+1Oblivion is the oldest "must have" for the 360 i think.. i remember having other games back then (Fight night was pretty awesome to showcase the graphics) but not feeling totally satisfied until Oblivion came out.. that and Dead Risign..
- Lennalf, on 12/11/2007, -1/+3Like... Geometry Wars?
- npsken, on 12/11/2007, -1/+15Why aren't the Burger King games on this list?
- fubuvsfitch, on 12/11/2007, -0/+1Those games were actually really fun! My favorite was the racing one. They were definitely worth the money. I was pleasantly surprised, anyway.
- MorningZ, on 12/11/2007, -0/+1One huge plus of those games are that they are 4-player-able... something i haven't seen much of from many other 360 titles :-(
- d3dm, on 12/11/2007, -6/+1Is that the game were the pissed off soccer moms are in a mini-van trying to run down that creepy king dude?
I saw an ad for that on TV last week. It looks dumb.- fubuvsfitch, on 12/11/2007, -1/+5No, dude. That's just a commercial. You must have missed the games about a year ago.
- Meatball01, on 12/11/2007, -15/+5BioShock - Got it on PC
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion - Got it on PC
Halo 3 - No interest in it.
Rock Band - Got it
Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock - No interest
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare - Got it on PC
Assassin's Creed - Gonna rent it
Gears of War - Getting for Christmas on PC
Mass Effect - Getting for Christmas
Crackdown - Had it, until my brother gave it to his friend.
This list should of had Dead Rising instead of Guitar Hero 3. I'm glad he left Orange Box off the list, it should only be played on the PC.- Dorepoll, on 12/11/2007, -0/+6My PC doesn't run games (I know, but money is tight), so I own a few of these games on XBOX360. That said, I'm happy with how well they are porting them.
- adraft, on 12/11/2007, -0/+3Right on, a lot of people blast consoles as being worse than PC for FPS and RTS games, but the beauty of them is they allow people without great computers to join in on the fun. I recently invested in a great computer though and haven't regretted it at all (Ok so I wish Vista was a little more stable and more games/hardware was fully compatible with it)
- Nidy1, on 12/11/2007, -1/+2For the amount of money you spend on a system, controllers, memory cards, etc. you can get yourself a computer that can run most of today's games. Plus, you can download mods and stuff.
Not knocking consoles or anything, just pointing that out.- grumbel, on 12/11/2007, -1/+3Its true that you can get yourself a computer for that money, but that will be a rather low-end one and won't play the newest games for very long, with a console you have 5 years of lifetime, even a good gaming PC starts to stutter after the 2 year mark when it doesn't get updated.
- DarkShroud, on 12/11/2007, -0/+1Parts are not that expensive to upgrade like people keep making out. Plus PC games can usually be found cheaper. And you don't have to pay for the on-line service (MMOs not withstanding but those usually aren't on consoles anyway.).
- BearinG, on 12/11/2007, -0/+1The point is.. upgrade is required.
- grumbel, on 12/11/2007, -1/+3Its true that you can get yourself a computer for that money, but that will be a rather low-end one and won't play the newest games for very long, with a console you have 5 years of lifetime, even a good gaming PC starts to stutter after the 2 year mark when it doesn't get updated.
- BearinG, on 12/11/2007, -0/+1"...computer that can run most of today's games."
Sure they will "run".. but probably not as well as they could on a medium-high end PC ($$) or on a console. Put it in and play.
- KompressorV12, on 12/11/2007, -0/+13thanks for letting us know what games you have and your intentions of picking them up in the future... the people reading these comments are now much better off than they were before spending the time to read this post
- Lennalf, on 12/11/2007, -0/+1Dead Rising was a great release title, and a generally fun game, but Capcom has forever lost my trust as a consumer due to the fact that they simply refused to patch the game to make it playable on Standard Def. How hard is it to make text bigger!?
For BioShock, Oblivion, CoD4, and Orange Box (not on list), I think it is fair to say that that ALL of these games are FAR better on PC. I sold my Xbox 360 for about $300, and put that cash towards a PC that can run any of those games at MAX settings (except for AA, of course) that cost me only $1100 total. I couldn't be happier! If anybody is like me, and has a 360 that's just been collecting dust for months, consider giving it a better home and treating yourself to a new PC. The games out for PC this year are simply awesome!
If you are interested in buying a serious gaming rig like mine for about 1k, I'd be happy to share my specs. Just shout at me.- GRAVEWiSH, on 12/11/2007, -0/+2sorry..I'd rather lay on my couch and play on my big screen HDTV than sit at my desk.
- BearinG, on 12/11/2007, -0/+1You can play the PC in highdef too...
"If anybody is like me, and has a 360 that's just been collecting dust for months..."
Obviously, its not because of a lack of good games, that's for sure..
For those of you like me that are tired of upgrading your PCs.. all the games listed above are available on the 360 (and some on PS3) and they play perfectly. The experience is just the same on consoles if you do not mind a controller.
- Dorepoll, on 12/11/2007, -0/+6My PC doesn't run games (I know, but money is tight), so I own a few of these games on XBOX360. That said, I'm happy with how well they are porting them.
- hazord, on 12/11/2007, -2/+0A lot of people find Crackdown boring. But I think its one of the most under appreciated games on the 360. Simply the most addictive Co-op experiences you'll ever have. Granted you have friends to play with.
- Christbait, on 12/11/2007, -1/+1Exactly. You need friends to enjoy it. Which is where some of the naysayers fall short.
- Ubergoober3, on 12/11/2007, -0/+5Does this article just scream "I'm just some bored gamer with too much time on their hands!"?
- Ike0, on 12/11/2007, -3/+5That makes it quite clear that 360 has very little diversity in terms of games. Most of them, except Dead Rising, Rock Band Assassin's Creed and Oblivion, are all shooters. And most all of those shooter are better played on PC. I like my 360 but it needs more than shooters.
- fubuvsfitch, on 12/11/2007, -1/+1Actually, the only thing this makes clear is this guy's opinion sucks. He left out NHL 08, probably the best hockey game of all time. There are plenty of other great sports games too.
What do you want? Sidescrollers? Mario? I will admit the 360 lacks an abundance of puzzle and/or party games, though.- modix, on 12/11/2007, -0/+2Believe it or not, there are genres beyond sports and shooters.
- KompressorV12, on 12/11/2007, -0/+1just because the highest rated games on 360 are FPS doesn't mean thats all it has... hell the two most played games by me right now are forza motorsport 2 and ace combat 6 (im addicted)
- Christbait, on 12/11/2007, -0/+2There's nearly 1000 titles and hundreds of Arcade titles, look harder. I'm really looking forward to Alan Wake though, it's looking mighty promising.
- fubuvsfitch, on 12/11/2007, -1/+1Actually, the only thing this makes clear is this guy's opinion sucks. He left out NHL 08, probably the best hockey game of all time. There are plenty of other great sports games too.
- tymme, on 12/11/2007, -0/+2Wow, Halo 3, Mass Effect, CoD 4... I /never/ would've guessed any of these (or the rest of the top 10).
- Brokatha, on 12/11/2007, -2/+5Mass Effect is an FPS now? Who the hell wrote this?
- Jeffler, on 12/11/2007, -0/+6No love for NHL 07 or 08? Yes, I know its EA, yes, I know its hockey, but the Skill Stick is honestly the best control system I've ever used for any game, ever. Why EA hasn't put it in EVERY sports game they own confuses me...(the entire game is controlled more or less by the analog sticks and RT)
- fubuvsfitch, on 12/11/2007, -0/+2NHL 08 is awesome.
- MatttK, on 12/11/2007, -0/+2NHL '08 is easily my favourite sports game of all time, hands down (aside from Blades of Steel of course).
- chadillak, on 12/11/2007, -0/+2BLAAAADES OF STEEEEL!
- FURIOUSgeorge24, on 12/11/2007, -0/+1If you hadn't noticed, EA is putting analog control schemes into pretty much every new somewhat "sports" title they put out. Whether it works (skate.) or not (Def Jam Icon).
- CCB0x45, on 12/11/2007, -1/+1Don't hate on rock band, its much more fun than guitar hero if you like those types of games...
I just picked up Mass Effect yesterday after debating whether I would like it, I liked KOTOR a lot, but wow, I was surprised... it is an amazing game.
Assassins Creed sucks, get that off the list. -
