Quirky Photos From The First Few Years Of Brooklyn's Barclays Center

 

Mermelstein is primarily known for documenting the quirky realities of life in the streets of New York City. You can see that work in his previous books, most notably "Sidewalk." He brought the same sensibility with him into the sports arena. Barclays. Not once do we ever see any of the main events: no concerts, boxing matches or even basketball games. What we do see are the quirky happenings around the edges, as Mermelstein wormed his way through the bowels of the place catching the people and events going on there.

Carabí's trip began in the bustling city of Tokyo, where the temperature hit highs of 40ºC before lunchtime, and the sun persisted with such intensity for most of the day. A Rare Photo Of A Zorse

Last year, I met an animal which I thought would only exist in my fantasy: a zorse, the hybrid between a zebra stallion and a horse mare. Zuri, the mare you see in the photo, was only 1.5 years old and although I've been working as a photographer with horses for over 6 years, this was different from anything I've known so far.
