DIGG.COM IS PRICELESS
·Updated:

It's Monday afternoon and you're already over being at work. We get it. That's why you're looking at Digg right now. So here's something to keep you occupied for a bit: a simple, maddeningly addictive game where you pick between two random domain names and guess which one is more expensive.

Created by Martin O'Leary, the game trawls through domain names that are currently up for sale and picks two at random. They vary between generic phrases (stovetops.com), random words (perusing.com), and nonsense (sitlocation.com). From there, you get to try to figure out which domain is more expensive, an undertaking that can sometimes be solved with logic (hempchemical.com's high price tag makes a certain amount of sense as CBD and weed products gain traction) and can sometimes only be guessed at (why is flanking.com so expensive? Nobody knows):

O'Leary discourages players from buying the domains and supporting "asshole domain squatters," but that's not really an issue since most of them are nonsensical or useless.

Now go waste 30 minutes.
