unixjunkie.blogspot.com — Funny, but what a bunch of bozos

- digg it
- klawz, on 10/12/2007, -3/+18Like it matters? Maybe they had soooo many iPods that they needed the display cardboard cases, who knows. Not worth "not getting a membership" - stupid.
- Bartboy919, on 10/12/2007, -3/+8the cardbard obviously held xp boxes. but they sell so fast they used it for the ipods
- fromkyletomars, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6Wait, so Microsoft doesn't make iPods?
- maize, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1Next we'll see Wii's placed on shelves marked 'Sony'
- blahtastic, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2More often than not the big packing boxes for products aren't actually from the right product. Newsflash, they save money when they don't set up fancy/appropriate displays. Them saving money there translates into you saving money on bulk stuff you may/may not need. Otherwise you wouldn't be able to buy a gallon of pickles for 5 dollars. (Disclaimer: No matter how much you think you may like pickles, a gallon is far too many pickles for any one person at any one time.)
- diggsIt, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1It does say 'For PC and Mac'. Good enough. NEXT!
- alteratti, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1"what a bunch of bozos"
yeah. - h4x0r1ng, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1This is stupid. So what, some employee thought it would be funny to swap the cardboard rack. Hahaha, ok, I'm bored.
- txcrew, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9I love Costco, and their return policy ;)
- atockcir, on 10/12/2007, -2/+12Their return policy is going to be limited to 90 day starting March 1st.
They got tired of taking back printers where the customer used all the toner or ink and just exchanged it instead of buying ink or toner. Not to mention the 5 year old TV's people returned because they didn't do HD.
Costco is a good company. Just too many idiots trying to take advantage. - Sonderiaom, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6I've heard nothing about the return policy being limited that soon and I work there. State your source.
- WilliamTanksley, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0The "return policy ends this March" story has been circulating for many, many years.
- abid786, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1It was also on Digg a while back, I think.
- atockcir, on 10/12/2007, -2/+12Their return policy is going to be limited to 90 day starting March 1st.
- flap, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5Being Costco, I am more impressed that these don't come in a jumbo pack.
- tidu, on 10/12/2007, -3/+25You're Costco? Nice to meet you.
- 1KrazyKorean, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1lol I know
- robdiggity, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Yeah, my friends call me Sam's Club.
- ichbinladen, on 10/12/2007, -1/+15"You went to law school at Costco?"
"Yeah I can't believe it either. My dad pulled some strings."- daveyt, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Idiocracy?
- totorototoro, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Weird. What boxes are those? I just bought a nano for a friend at the apple store, and it wasn't packaged like that at all-it was in a hard acrylic box. Does Costco get its own packaging?
- h3smith, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Oh no, Costco is reusing things. God the humanity!!1
They are good corporate citizens, they recycle their boxes, the pay their workers VERY well, they give them great benefits.
It is the same if they had a Reece's Cup box holding up iPod's, the Microsoft one just happened to fit the iPods. - kwago, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1microsoft must be rebranding zunes
- Wogna, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I wish we had Costco's here in Wichita, Kansas. Sam's Club is just not the same (and it's pretty much Wal-Mart, which is the Satan of department stores)
- RedFoxEvan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Mistakes happen, live with it.
- TheNik, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2So they reused a cardboard display rack? For a Google software engineer you are pretty ***** stupid.
- SirBotchness, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1careface
blogspam - maize, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Wrong post DD please
- WarPirate, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Real question is why is apple using the word Remastered to explain Remanufactured or Refurbished.
Remastering is for media like sound or video you cant remaster a god damned ipod
Unless this is some crappy marketing scheme to explain redesigned (ie.. Nano 2)- morcheeba, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Yep, "remastered" = second gen nano
http://www.apple.com/ipodnano/
I hadn't thought of it, but it does have the negative association with refurbished.
- morcheeba, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Yep, "remastered" = second gen nano
- Azio, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Buried. This is so ***** lame.
- razor150, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Who would have guessed that somebody with the username of "unixjunkie" would post something as stupid as this?
Oh noes! The box says Microsoft, how dare Costco re-use their boxes!
