          2. browse through the site, quickly glance at headlines and summaries. digg or bury appropriately, dont worry about reading it. if it says ron paul, george bush, linux, pwnd, breaking, [pic] or "BREAKING", just digg it. if it says ron paul, !!1!!, 9/11, "title says it all", or (pic) digg down.

          3. leave witty comments. if sarcastic, do not point out you are being so. digg users should be smart enough to tell, and you should be smart enough to make it obvious.

I'd have to know the size of screen to make a remotely accurate guess, but I'm thinking it'll likely sync with your Safari bookmarks. If your in Google or any other situation that really needs typing, it'll use a method similar to the search feature already on 5G iPods. If you want to hit a link, you 'scroll' through them with the wheel, like you can tab or shift-tab in web browsers.

Pretty much, if an Apple patent is released before a product is announced, it will never be released (or very highly improbable).     I doubt Apple is going to put a scroll wheel on the 2nd gen iPhone. It's probably just the 6th gen Video iPod, or 3rd gen iPod Nano.
