Now That I Know Foreshadowing (John Grisham Parody)
theonion.com — Guess what? There is this really neat literary device I just learned about, and it's called "foreshadowing." It's this thing where, in the beginning of the story, you put in all these little "hints" about stuff that's going to happen later on. I can't wait to try it out!

- Detritus, on 06/05/2008, -1/+1It is amusing that Grisham can poke some fun at himself. Personally, I was bored with his work after The Firm, but The Brethren was good.
- orientis, on 06/05/2008, -0/+2Yeah, Grisham is great. I heard that he heard The Onion was writing a satirical article about him, and he said "No, let me write it myself." They said "but we were just going to put your photo and name above the article and pretend you wrote it" and he said "No, I must do it myself, the John Grisham way" and so they let him and this article was the awesome result.
I'm so glad it had a happy ending after all.
(I fear for the gene pool)
