        Besides, I use Digg a lot, and I support Ron Paul. Well, now Bob Barr, but it used to be Ron Paul before McSame got in. Anyway, I support Obama solely because I believe he is a good person, and although I wouldn't vote for him, I do want him to win if my candidate does not, as he will do a better job than the Republican party candidates. Speaking logically, if a Democrat gets elected this year, the Republicans get a fresh start next election. Ron Paul 2012!

It's worthless paper, that promises to pay the bearer the face value. But printing more money than the funds available brings down the value of the currency as a whole (that's inflation). Citizens are then paying more of their money for the same things. So yeah, Inflation is most definitely a stealth tax.

      ...and, considering the power the Federal Reserve has, I doubt anyone can or will be able to control them within the workings of current American Politics. It's too far gone, in my opinion. Money is power, and they have all the money - everyone else just has paper.

      I'm not American though, so my affiliation is redundant.
