- DeadSkinMask, on 05/03/2008, -23/+6I love sports, but THIS sports guy is a grade A Douchebag.
- NiGHTSChao, on 05/04/2008, -5/+4A lot of ***** sports fans are like that, sorry
- equinoxChild, on 05/03/2008, -2/+107Great, now I'm going to spend all day wondering what would have happened if bobba fett started a bounty hunter training facility :(
the video makes a really good point though.- VinceA, on 05/03/2008, -1/+61As I remind the 'fantasy football' obsessed guys in my office... "fantasy football" is just D&D for jocks (or wannabes) just that real D&D takes more imagination.
- evilgeniuscow, on 05/03/2008, -3/+1I'm not into sports but it sounds like a full D&D-like game with real sports players could be cool.
- mGARANDEUR1, on 05/03/2008, -1/+15I don't think bobba fett would do such a thing. You see, he acts as a lone bounty hunter and wouldn't expose himself in such a way.
- NoDisk, on 05/03/2008, -1/+1Absolutely not. He's just in it for the Vette, anyway:

- daniking, on 05/03/2008, -23/+20And your walking away, and your walking away...
- GeekyGerge, on 05/03/2008, -4/+28What about his walking away?
- ultrafez, on 05/03/2008, -0/+10From now on, I bury people who fail at grammar... and @GeekyGerge, I salute you.
- GeekyGerge, on 05/04/2008, -0/+2Peace
- hstege, on 05/03/2008, -2/+27Ty Cobb's career batting average was .366.
But I'm not a geek, cause I just googled it... right?- equinoxChild, on 05/03/2008, -1/+11You're on commenting a story on digg.
You're a geek, just like the rest of us :P
- equinoxChild, on 05/03/2008, -1/+11You're on commenting a story on digg.
- tMANwi, on 05/03/2008, -16/+5Mildly entertaining. "And you're walking away, and you're walking away.... good"
- novabeatnik, on 05/03/2008, -24/+4You can't be a sports geek that is an oxymoron. Stop tacking geek on everything, it gives geeks a bad name.
- Gregus1032, on 05/03/2008, -1/+11wow, way to be an idiot. it is possible and no, it's not an oxymoron. im willing to bet you're the guy this video is making fun of.
- mikepictor, on 05/03/2008, -0/+19geek can apply to any interest niche that you pursue with a higher than average level of interest. I know gaming geeks, but also history geeks, motorcycle geeks, and sports geeks. Stop being scared of a word.
- SquigglyP, on 05/03/2008, -1/+1You're thinking of 'nerds', nova. There are no sports nerds.
Of course, that's probably wrong as well.
- TheArabian, on 05/03/2008, -4/+1haha, BEAutiful
- MBHockey, on 05/03/2008, -15/+2wow, this was really stupid.
- Frostek, on 05/03/2008, -0/+9Did it hit a nerve? I've been saying this for years - people who obsessively memorise huge amounts of junk information on their favourite hobby, whatever, are nerds... It's not necessarily a bad thing, but people should be more honest about themselves...
- chinolofus, on 05/03/2008, -5/+1they should have walked off into the sunset holding hands.
- MrFurious2k, on 05/03/2008, -4/+8I think most Star Wars fans would prefer fanfics in which Jar Jar suffered some ghastly death (or at least some egregious injury). Take care of that loose end first before you start with ice planets and bounty hunter training camps.
- SquigglyP, on 05/03/2008, -0/+1I like to think that Jar Jar was on the planet that was destroyed in A New Hope. I forget the name, because I'm not a Star Wars geek.
- Uberwon, on 05/04/2008, -0/+4Alderan... the planet was Alderan
- SquigglyP, on 05/03/2008, -0/+1I like to think that Jar Jar was on the planet that was destroyed in A New Hope. I forget the name, because I'm not a Star Wars geek.
- saikyan, on 05/03/2008, -1/+32It's so obviously true... that no sports geek would ever believe it.
- will2000, on 05/03/2008, -1/+6totally an onion article...still funny though http://www.theonion.com/content/node/38664
- SkippySkip, on 05/03/2008, -2/+11So... Youtube is down?
- betona, on 05/03/2008, -1/+4I was wondering the same thing--haven't been able to get to it all morning.
- SkippySkip, on 05/03/2008, -0/+5Back up now it seems. Never seen Youtube go down, but I guess it has to happen sometimes.
- diggdiggerid, on 05/03/2008, -8/+37I never got the appeal of watching other people have fun (constantly). To me, sports are fun, but only when I'm playing them, not shoving chips into my mouth watching other people.
- evilgeniuscow, on 05/03/2008, -0/+14The appeal is that they are REALLY good at having that particular kind of fun. To me professional Starcraft is fun to watch and I enjoy playing as well.
- acetv, on 05/03/2008, -0/+1If only Savior didn't suck ass now...
- Kronos6948, on 05/03/2008, -0/+5It's about having a rooting interest. Sometimes it could be a player that's just so amazing that you've never seen anything like it (like Jordan or Gretzky), or it could be an amazing team, or your home team.
At least for me, that's what it's about.- Matsky, on 05/04/2008, -0/+1The comment is so much funnier when you're Australian.
- evilgeniuscow, on 05/03/2008, -0/+14The appeal is that they are REALLY good at having that particular kind of fun. To me professional Starcraft is fun to watch and I enjoy playing as well.
- RoboSkier, on 05/03/2008, -1/+1Mirror: http://video.google.com/videosearch?q=star+wars+vs ...
It doesn't look like it's working, but if you click on the play button the video will load. - ogermino, on 05/03/2008, -2/+0I like how the supposed non-Star Wars fan has a "My heart is in carbonite" sign posted on his wall.
- TheHappyRobot, on 05/03/2008, -2/+3meh, American comedy is so in your face. Good points though.
I condone.- SquigglyP, on 05/03/2008, -1/+2this is the Tarantino / Kevin Smith influence in indie film makers. They all think that witty / fast paced / ultra crazy-cool dialogue should be flowing from every character on screen.
- SilverBlade2k, on 05/03/2008, -1/+14That is so true!. There's no difference between being a Star Wars Geek, LOTR Geek, Sports geek, car geek, motorcycle geek or political geek!. Everybody is a 'geek' in something.
- cannabrain, on 05/03/2008, -1/+5I guess having a hobby your really into makes you a geek now, huh
- HigherLogic, on 05/03/2008, -3/+2Perhaps you're missing the obvious. The sports geek probably gets laid, the Star Wars geek still lives in his parent's basement and has never touched a girl. All this video demonstrated was that you can be a geek in a lot of things. You could also be a celeb geek and know all about who they are going out with and who they last dated, what movies they started in, etc.
- Gregus1032, on 05/04/2008, -0/+2who says a sports geek gets laid? just because they like to watch sports doesnt mean they're any more in-shape, better looking, or more socially active.
- peterinjapan, on 05/03/2008, -0/+1Great!
- normlsparky, on 05/03/2008, -0/+11sports geeks are just geeks in denial.
- Jus7in, on 05/03/2008, -2/+1Isn't it better to wait and actually submit something funny than to be impulsive and submit a bunch of garbage and hope it hits the front page?
- VinnieDaMac, on 05/03/2008, -6/+3Knowing about sports will indirectly help you in life, at least more than knowing about Star Wars. Assuming you have a boss, he or she is more likely to know about sports than Star Wars and if you know about sports than that's something you can relate to them with, thus helping you.
- SquigglyP, on 05/03/2008, -0/+3you don't work IT, obviously.
- zarvensha, on 05/03/2008, -0/+3And you're walking away, and you're walking away.................
I actually smiled
Something I cant say for half the stuff submitted here as comedy..... - diskit, on 05/03/2008, -0/+1Boba Fett opening a bounty hunter training facility on ice-planet Hoth?
That'd be pretty cool actually. - jcoy, on 05/04/2008, -0/+4Both guys are equally annoying.
- asherchang, on 05/04/2008, -0/+1I've never seen this video before but I swear I saw something before with the same premise.... any help, anyone?
- BuckleButt, on 05/05/2008, -0/+1Buried as inaccurate. Shadows of the Empire wasn't a multiplayer game. And don't gimme any trade off the controller bull shi*.
- archana26, on 05/06/2008, -0/+0Hey guys! Hasn’t Reebok been the coolest since really long. I heard about their new range. Checked it out on http://www.reebokhexride.com/?um=01 Cool stuff.
- aSizzler15, on 05/07/2008, -1/+0Big difference in being a star wars geek vs sports geek. All the guys on PTI and Around the Horn are sports geeks and they're making the money. I dont know how some of you can say its the same..
